Mrs Armitage And The Big Wave

The story is lovely and the illustrations are great. What more can anyone ask - maybe that their children will love it - trust me - they will!

This is a good book. Amusing for young and old. I had ordered this book as an additional wedding present for a new Mrs. Armitage and although the seller suggested it was new, the book had clearly been folded in the middle (before posting). This meant I was unable to give this as a gift. Sadly the trader did nothing to rectify the situation. SOOO I have a book that I needed for a gift but was unable to use for that purpose. I hope the trader doesn't catch you out in the same way!!!

LOVE all of the Mrs Armitage books and so do all the kids I read them to. Highly recommend.

Quentin Blake has an amazing talent for stories with great humour. This book is pocket sized, just like the price and is a wonderful book for any childs collection. Bought for my daughters 4th birthday, and in 2 days we have read the book over 20 times and each time she laughs heartly and then asks for it again!

You can't go wrong with the Mrs Armitage books. My 5 year-old loves them. This one was no exception. Probably one of the best-received of her Christmas presents this year!

I would give this book 10 stars. The Mrs Armitage books are awesome! WE enjoy reading them so much with our grandkids.

Mrs Armitage is fantastic:- confident, positive, experimental, and like small children, never quite satisfied. The pictures are lovely and the words have a rhythm that carries children through the story.
