It is a lovely collection of traditional songs and a piece of history as well. I enjoy playing them both on Kalimba and 16 string Lyre Harp.

It will come in usefull when I get more experienced.

Easy to read music ; pleasantly suprised with original language and English

i was hoping it would be more about learning some old songs with some instructions on how to do it. But it is not. It reminds me of being back in school and reading the writing's of William Shakespeare., and listening to stories from your grand parents. I like reading classics, but this is way different, think about going out on a date, and then writing about how it turned out with music to it. It is a shame that they didn't put more effort into how to play the music, as it would have been interesting adding the music to the words. May I will get lucky and it will come out like the song of Robin Hood, when played by Richard Greene., It was a catchy tune that stayed on your mind, the same as the Beverly Hillbillys

Well... I am sure it is a good music book but it is not a beginner book for the Lyer
