Good budget option
A bit stiffer than mares superchannels. But very useable and comfortable and lighter than most open heel fins. Good product.

Too stiff for people not used to stiff fins...
This are my second fins. Previously I used the cheap Mares Manta fins. I got used to them, I like them, but I wanted a pair of open heel fins because they are easier to put and take off. Also I was looking for more thrust. I researched for the best fins. These were often mentioned among the best and definitely the cheapest among the best. So I decide for these SEAC Propulsion S. Yesterday I went to test them. I didn't like them. It was an easy dive. No current. Slow. No need for fast kicking. I felt the fins TOO stiff. Thrust was poor if kicking slowly. If trying to kick harder I quickly got muscle cramp in the upper part of the ankle. I'm not saying these fins are bad. My point is if you are not used to stiff fins you can have troubles to adapt to it.

Good fins, great for video white balancing
I have used my old Aqualung Blade fins literally for decades and been happy with everything EXCEPT they're not white. As an underwater videographer, I've craved white fins to use as a white-balance target. I tried multiple white fins including ScubaPro Seawings but none were as good for frog kicking as my Blades. These SEAC fins are great for both flutter and frog kicking. On time-testing in the pool they are marginally slower than my Blades but I haven't noticed any problems on my ocean dives. They are very comfortable and easy to don and doff. They're also lightweight and easy to transport. I was able to white-balance and capture several hurried video clips that I might have missed without these fins. They're also quite inexpensive. They seem high quality and I hope they last for decades!

No sling straps!!
Mine came with the regular adjustable straps, not the sling straps as pictured and stated in the product title. This occurred with two different orders. I called Seac and they weren’t helpful, suggesting I just buy the sling straps separately. Besides that, the fins seem great. Though I have not yet tried them in the water so it’s hard to give a full review. The teal color is so awesome!
