Very nice and works great

Much better quality than expected and easy to use, zipper on my trap works fine, just dont abuse it. I do wish the entrance holes were larger, as larger bait fish have trouble entering the trap. I used zip ties to make the entry way larger and it did help.

Broke after one month of careful use

Worked better than expected. Caught salt water bait fish, crabs, and shrimp. What I liked best is the size of the netting allowed me to catch extra small speciums for my salt water tank. Also the ability to fold up the net was wonderful. Takes up very little space in your car. Was a little worried about the zippers failing in the salt water but so far no problems with the salt water. The only problem was the bait bag not holding up to the crabs. Very minor issue. Because of the waves from boats and tide currents I installed weights to help hold the the trap in place. Love it.

The trap seems pretty good design. The loop on top to attach your line is very thin. I tied the line to the metal frame. 3rd day I used it the bottom zipper broke. I zipped the top zipper all the way down. We will see how long it lasts. UPDATE: This trap is awful. I bought the trap to catch catfish. The smaller fish get their pectoral (side) fins caught in the mesh and it is very difficult to free them. The second zipper broke after using it one more time after the first zipper broke. The pulls came off and I don’t see how to put them back on. The zipper is the only way to close the mesh. It does not attach to the frame itself. I can probably wire the mesh to the frame and then zip tie the frame closed. But why should I have to after just using it a few times. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this.

The picture I attached was MY FIRST CAST .. loaded it with a piece of bread floating around a chunk of white cheese so the fish could see the bait in the dark water then in the bait bag I put frozen ground beef chunk and some fishy flavoured cat food pellets and I cannot stress it enough everytime I threw this trap in I would wait 5mins or less and pull out atleast 20 fish creek chub, fall fish , sucker fish etc was a ton of fun … if there are fish in the area and you have the right bait you will catch fish allll day long .. the mesh isn’t the highest quality but if it rips I will just patch it very easily w zipties the mesh hasn’t got caught on anything for me yet .. the build it self is cosmetically a lil janky looks homemade a bit but it does its job flawlessly and I have no doubts that it will hold up for a long time as long as I watch where I’m casting it out , also you would think fish could escape easy with so many holes but I don’t think I lost a single fish all day
