Good quality pu'er tea!
This is solid quality pu'er tea from Yunnan, which is basically the origin of this type of tea. Pu'er tea is a bit of an acquired taste, as it's fermented, and has a stronger flavor to it. The brewing instructions were good, and the tea tasted quite tasty. Note - it's important to follow the directions, since this doesn't brew like black or green teas. If you like pu'er tea or are curious, then this is a good example of it.

Long-lasting wakefulness, not much flavor
This Pu'er tea needs to boil in the water for a bit before it will release it's flavor. When I tried to pour boiling water over it as I do with other teas, the tea did not brew. It comes in convenient mini-bricks that are thin enough to break into pieces with your hands. If you're serving one person, I suggest you break each brick in half. With half a brick, I was able to get 3 10-oz glasses of tea and probably could have gotten at least one more. Careful, though. This tea kept me up much later than usual on all three occasions I tried it. I did not expect this because there was no over-caffienation rush while consuming the tea; I simply found myself awake much later than usual. Use that information as you choose. The flavor is very mild as pu'er teas go.

Fermented tea in dry cake form. Can be mild or strong. Different from green or black tea.
ATOURUF Yunnan Old Tree Pu'er Tea arrives in a thick cardboard box with the mysterious inscription: "The Old Pu'er tree gives birth to the tea." Inside are 12 small square cakes of dried Pu'er tea inside paper wrappers. The directions are also somewhat mysterious, I recommend watching the short videos on their Amazon web page to understand what the directions mean. They actually kind of rinse the tea for a few seconds, then throw out the first brew. Then they brew it a second time and serve it right away. Not understanding their method at first, I made tea the way I usually do, heated up two cups (about half a liter) of water, dropped the whole tea cake in there, and let it brew a few minutes. I found the first cup was tasty but pretty mild. The second cup, which had probably brewed about 10 minutes, was very strong, but I still liked it.Pu'er is a unique tea experience. The tea has a lot of different flavor notes. My wife likes it because it seems to improve her digestion.

Unique (to me anyway)
I love tea and drink a lot of it. The presentation of this ATOURUF pu’er tea is unique to me. I’ve had teas that were sold in large, pressed, cakes before. I find these difficult to break apart for brewing. I’ve never seen individual serving sized pressed cakes. The slide out box and the little pressed cakes make this a very giftable item to a tea lover in your life. The brewing instructions could be a bit clearer but I used a whole cake to about 12 oz of boiling water for 30 sec and the resulting tea was very nice. It’s a light pu’er (some can be very dark but this one results in a light golden brew). The flavor is very light. Perhaps just a little floral and some natural sweetness. It’s quite good if you like lighter teas. The production date on this box is 2 months ago, however pressed teas like this have a very long shelf life is stored properly.

A surprisingly light and refreshing tea
This tea comes pressed - don’t is in square disks. You can brew multiple cups off the same disk without the flavor diminishing at all. It has a deep and rich flavor that is quite calming. I’m very pleasantly surprised by this tea and can easily recommend.

High-quality and delicious
This pu'er tea is of high quality and delicious. It comes in tightly pressed square discs, individually-wrapped and packaged in a presentable hard box. I steep one in freshly boiled water for several seconds per infusion. You can get around a dozen infusion depending on the cup size. The flavor is really good. It is mildly sweet, mellow and fresh. Slightly astringent initially. The tea leaves get unfolded into large, whole leaves.Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of this pu'er tea. It is delicious and the sweet, mellow taste lingers. You can cut the pressed tea disc into halves if you prefer to brew a smaller portion. Originated in Yunnan, China. Decently priced. I would recommend giving it a try. A great tea.
