Body GloveMethod USCG Approved Nylon Life Vest

I ordered a Big and Tall vest from a ski shop that was guaranteed for fit. After paying more money than I'm willing to mention, it didn't. I desperately needed a vest for a boat outing and ordered this as a hail Mary. For the price I figured I was a good enough swimmer that if the vest was sketchy I could still get by. To my surprise the vest fits incredibly well and is extremely comfortable. Additionally it looked good on me. It was long enough that I looked normal and the arm holes were low enough that I didn't look like I couldn't put my arms down. On top of that it was significantly cheaper than buying from a boat shop. Highly recommend for the Big and Tall crowd. Oh...it kept me afloat also.

First the good points. The color is better than black as black absorbs the sun and is too hot. Large arm openings for mobility. Very adjustable straps to conform to my fat body shape.lol. Even distribution of buoyancy.. Now that is said I have one major complaint... I was specifically looking for a vest that had a HEAVY DUTY FRONT ZIPPER WITH CLIP STRAPS OVER THE ZIP..😡😡 In the description it stated in 2 different paragraphs in 2 different spots that it had ZIPPER IN FRONT.. This of course was the main reason I selected this vest... I tried to determine in the picture of the product but it was unclear. I was very irate and have a good mind to return it for this reason.. Not that hard to have taken a picture of the Zipper area.. Disappointed. Hate to do it but I saw one at Wally World as I try not to shop there..

I have life jackets from $20 to $100. These seem to be the right balance of cost and quality. They are way better then the $20 ones you'll fine, and pretty close to the ones costing twice as much. Highly recommended unless you need top end, or just some to throw in your boat to keep it legal.

I bought this after researching some better life jacket brands. been great on the boat this summer. never had any issues. it seems a lot more adjustable than the description leads you to believe, i don't have measurements but my father has quite a bit bigger 'barrel' chested than me and didn't think that a large would fit and with adjusting it did just fine. i am 6foot at a healthy and lean 175 and the large has to be almost completely tight on all straps to be snug. it is also very comfortable, and of course more stylish than most! there are 3 things that i noted as to why i wouldn't buy again, although it has nothing to do with the quality of the vest or manufacturing; only not for what i was needing in a vest. 1- it has no crotch strap so treading water for an extended period of time would be more aggravating since you would have the 'pushing into your face' feeling. 2- the vest is NOT rated as a SURVIVAL vest for treading watering for extended periods of time and, 3- the vest has uneven buoyancy so quoting from the manufacturers tag 'if unconscious your body would rotate face down into the water'besides that, as an extra 'throw it in the boat' vest (seeing as any vest would be better than nothing at all) or as just a day out for water-sports, i would highly recommend this.

This fits a larger guy, but I wish it were longer because my husband is very tall.

I like the look and feel. Sign runs a little smaller but it's good

This fit my husband perfectly! He wears 2x and it was great! Not too thick or bulky.
