HiplokZ LOK COMBO Multi-use Security Tie & Bike Lock

We bought this as a little deterrent for taking the bikes away or to lock outside a cafe. Although it was VERY stiff to set the code in the "set" mode, once set it works fantastic. We also used it to lock our paddleboard bags to the harbour when we went out for a paddle. I appreciate it's not the most secure lock in the world. But we only expected to use it as a mere deterrent.We think it's great for the money. And it's flat shape fits nicely in a cycling jersey back pocket or jacket pocket.

I tie mine around my saddle bag (through the saddle bars) so if i need to nip in to a shop quickly I have at least something and doesn't need an extra key etc....Get's stuck at times and needs a jiggle, but yeah...Wouldn't leave it anywhere long with it..

First things first this is not designed to be the main lock to lock up your bike PLEASE don't use it for that. This lock is more for a quick pitstop to get a drink at a shop or going to the cashpoint. I will be using it to lock my front wheel to the bike frame with my main lock when I want to leave my bike for longer, it is good for your cycling accessories like bike lights and helmet which you may not want to carry with you. It is well made and the metal strap is thicker that a thought it was going to be. For the purpose it was designed for it will do a vary good job. BUT again not to be used as a main lock for your bike.

TLDR: - Not fit for purpose, will cause you more problems than it solves.This looked like a brilliant little lock to secure an E-scooter for a few mins whilst nipping into the local shops. Set a new code as soon as I got it, read the instructions and tested I could easily lock and lock it before I actually needed to use it - No problems. Few days later, I decide to take the scooter down to the shops for the first time, quickly tested the locking procedure again before I set off, no problems.Get my stuff from the shops, reach down to unlock it and BAM - Jammed solid. No matter what I did, it wasn't unlocking. I had to get a friend who had a van to come pick me up. Once home, spent half an hour double checking the instructions to ensure I wasn't doing anything wrong, watched some videos, etc. Still nothing. Then found some other users had encountered the same thing so this was not an isolated incident. In the end, like others, having exhausted all non destructive options, I had to cut off with a pair of bolt cutters.

Very pleased with this lock, great design, light easy to carry on bike & seems far more secure than other coffee stop locks. Only small issues is the size of numbers on combination lock. Probably fine for young cyclists but even with my specs on difficult to see, especially in poor light.

This is well made and feels sturdy but setting the locking code requires dexterity and, once set, it can be very difficult to unlock if light is poor. The numbers on the dials are hard to read in good conditions and the wheels have an imprecise feel about them.

Works well as a light weight bicycle lock to deter opportunistic thieves

Use mine all the time for short stop offs or with cable for more security. Light, quick and easy to use.

Perfect for ducking into store in a low crime area, but obviously would never withstand serious attack. Still high quality and perfect for coffee shop runs.

Fits inside my riding jacket pocket and I use the handelbars between my risers to attach this to and lock up my helmet. Works really well.

Das beste an diesem Produkt ist das kleine "Packmaß" und Gewicht. Hab es fast immer am Motorrad um z.b. die Helme am Motorrad zu sichern. Auch beim Camping schließe ich damit z.b. meinen Grill oder Zubehör an den Wohnwagen ab.Selbst auf Fahrradtouren nehme ich oft nur dieses kleine Schloss, oder die Schlüsselvariante die ich mir vor einigen Jahren gekauft habe, mit.Es geht dabei ja nicht um einen high-end Diebstahlschutz, sonder eher um die "Gelegenheit macht Diebe" Situationen.Ich habe diesen Artikel schon sehr oft im Freundes- und Bekanntenkreis weiterempfohlen.

Für den schnellen Einkauf beim Bäcker perfekt aber länger als 30 min würde ich es nicht benutzen 😅
