There’s nothing to dislike. I don’t know HOW we did it, but we managed to lose the original telescopic wand for our Miele C1 Canister Vacuum Cleaner. This is the perfect replacement telescopic wand for the original wand. Everything fits, as it should and everything makes the proper connection. The price is reasonable and the telescopic function works beautifully. There’s a wand that costs more than twice as much as this one, on Amazon, but while it claims to fit the Miele C1 Canister Vacuum, it doesn’t fit it, at all. If you’re looking for a wand replacement that’s decent and will work with any Miele C1 Canister Vac, look no further, you have found the perfect match.

We've misplaced the wand that came with our Miele. This is a decent replacement but while it has the latch at one end, it's missing the square cutout at the other (which is shown in the picture). This means attachments are likely to fall off when bumped or knocked. I'll likely end up cutting a square myself which is less-than-ideal. I'll make it work but it's a bit annoying.Edit: It appears that some of the pictures are showing the OEM wand and comparing them with this one. That makes it even more egregious that the square is missing.

I bought this extension for the Miele Complete C3 vacuum. It works great for reaching tall areas and fits securely to the unit. Recommended!

This fits my Miele vacuum and works well.

Good sturdy vacuum wand that can extend easily with just a button. The rod is lightweight and easy to connect to the hose and other attachments. The size of the holes of the wand is very specific for the recommended vacuum.

I ordered this for my second Miele which is a mid 90s model called S 324i. My second Miele is actually a higher quality progenitor of the Classic C1. I got my model S 324i at an estate sale so the steel hose wand was missing. If you buy a new Miele then you wouldn’t have any need to order this product because the Miele already comes with a better quality steel hose wand.As a replacement wand this product is good enough. It is definitely not as good quality as the Miele branded wand that came with my classic C1. The reason I don’t like it as much is because it is a bit clunky to click and unclick the attachments. This off brand wand is currently stuck to another knockoff floor attachment I bought. However it extends and contracts easily. It clips into place as you extend it. So it is not that bad.I appreciate that the product listing is very clear that this hose wand is NOT FOR ELECTROHOSE models. Certain mieles actually have powered electric hoses and for those models this would not work at all. But like I stated, it fits well enough and works with both my S 324i model and my classic C1 model.
