Served its purpose but when I had to pull it up off the floor, a lot of residue remained.

Not really very luminescent. (at least compared to other tapes here on Amazon.) See pics. They say it all. Will be returning this one.NOTE: None of these tapes look like the photos in daylight or if there is any light. They will only look like the photos in complete darkness. Also note that even the sun does not charge them like a good quality UV lamp. The picture taken after the UV light was turned off was taken immediately after it was turned off. Good for what it's for
It does just what it's supposed to do. It will glow brightly if exposed to light. The only thing I did not like was that it did not stick to some steps I put it on.

What's up with this tape?
I bought 4 rolls of this tape and put a ring of it at the top of each of the poles holding our dock up and a stripe around the raft. After the son goes down you can't even see it. I may as well have put masking tape on. What's wrong?
