Yes yes yes just do it!!! You won't regret!
Okay, so going to level with you all. I used half as much as recommended as I'm cheap and wanted a quick fix for my manky ikea grey sofa that very early on looked faded and roughhhhh. So before investing in totally new covers (custom as they don't make our sofa anymore, so would be minimum £350) I decided to give this a bash. I used 3 parts paint to 1 part water dilution- they don't say to do this, like I said, I'm cheap. I washed the original covers and whilst they were still wet, over a series of 3 days, repeatedly painted being sure to concentrate on anything obviously visible and the piping edges. Yes it's a bit messy - I probably would advise gloves but hey, I'm an unorganized person so I did sport blue hands for a couple days afterwards.Overall pretty easy to use a d paint, make sure the fabric you're applying it to is wet as it does soak in and look more natural rather than just painted on top. I painted on a patchy dark grey sofa with the blue paint and the colour playoff is fabulous!! Would for sure recommend for any quick fixes or up cycles anyone is doing. I've tried on other furniture in the past with other brands and can honestly say this was the best I've used yet. Very effective and great coverage.Do it!! Just go for it!!

Fabric paint
Bought this for a lampshade. Did take a few coats but worked well. Dried quickly between coats and felt good quality when applying. Colour exactly what I expected.

This worked great on my upholstery
A great fabric paint mixed with the grey paint and fabric softener to achieve a colour change to my settee and chair.

Lovely colour
The colour was great but alas the coverage was not that good . The size was supposed to cover an armchair but was colouring a blind and wasnt enough and was ver patchy . Alas an expensive way to upcycle a roman blind that is now in the bin . I think it is a good product with very low odour and easy to use. I would buy it again but only use it on smàller items .

Highly recommended for tired motorcycle leathers.
My motorcycle leathers were looking rather tired, this product was so easy to use and gave my leathers a new lease of life.

So impressed with this product.
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased a vintage VW van that was really tired inside. It was lined with dirty grey felting and I couldn’t afford to get it relined as it would have costed £1000’s. I decided to give this fabric paint a go. I mixed the green and white and got a lovely sage green. I was very sceptical as first and wasn’t convinced it would work. I tested it on a small area which wasn’t visible and I was so impressed. Even though the felt was ridged, it sunk into the fabric and coloured it beautifully. I tried a number of different brushes and sponges and found a medium paint brush the best. I sprayed the fabric first with water which is essential I think, and stippled the colour on so it went into the ridges. The result is fantastic!!! I’ve used 2 bottles of white and one on green so far, but will need to order another two to finish the ceiling and boot. Although the paint is quite expensive and it’s costed me over £100, that is nothing compared to what I would have spent refelting it. It’s also added so much value to the camper van . I’m so pleased I’m going to purchase another bottle to paint a tired chair I have. Thank you for this product and I’ll post a picture when finished.

It's just like any other paint
It works as any other acrylic paint. It makes the pile of velvet look stiff and painted. If you want to have a colour transformation dying seems to be the way to go

Need a lot for full coverage
Great idea, but you'll need a lot for a sofa. I ran out even after using 2 bottles and ultimately had to discard the sofa since buying six more bottles wasn’t cost-effective. Be sure to read the instructions and wet the fabric before painting—this might help the paint go further. I forgot to do this initially, and the fabric may have absorbed too much paint. Would need at least 2 coats. It dried quite quickly and the texture after was soft and not hard at all, would look great with a second coat.
