A must read for anyone interested in Greek mythology

This one is addictive.. All the complex myths that have been put and categorised with simplicity.. This has become my one of the go to book for greek myths !! Loved it !!

Edith Hamilton's book Mythology is well written, concise and easy to follow. She's introduced all the characters well and the stories are picked from other translated works such as Iliad, Odyssey and the others. This is a good book to read to get an idea of the various gods and goddesses in the Greek / Roman mythology. An introductory chapter on Norse mythology is also included.

The best place to learn how men and women behaved through annals of time. Why the war was a frequent occurrence in olden days of mythology? What was the main theme of various wars fought between gods and monsters? Only the names appearing in the book are difficult to pronounce, however, that is how the mythological characters assumed theirs names in those periods. One can easily relate to the characters in the book.

I really liked how the Author gave each and very detail a good view to understand. It has all the stories of Greek Myth, starting from Olympus to the Norse Gods.

It gives you a proper and vivid picture of the classical myths.

I didn't know that this book is so compact and reader-friendly. The page quality is also good.

Excelente libro

This is a book that was recommended to me by a college professor of mine. It was used as a reading in his course, and was a genuinely fascinating read. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in learning more about Mythology as a whole.
