WordHoo Games for Kids, Boys and Girls: 3-in-1 Educational Games (7 Years Up)

I have been playing card games since childhood and wanted to give this one a try after reading all the nice reviews. Must say I was pretty amazed to play it with my 8 year old son (who was equally excited !!). Here are some insights:Gameplay:At first the game seems pretty easy as all you have to do is make words out of a given set of cards and one seems to think this is a card version of Scrabble. But as you keep progressing with the drawing deck and come across more and more zap cards, the game seems to be getting more interesting each time you play.The interesting part is that the game is not too lengthy like scrabble, and is not too quick, like Uno. It is just the right duration as you end up finishing in 20-25 mins even if 3-4 players are involved.Being a card game is advantageous that you can carry it around easily and there are no boards or dice or tokens to take care of. Additional advantage in this one is, even if you loose 4-5 cards, the game is still playable with equal ease.Packaging & appearance:The game comes neatly packed in a box which contains a plastic base for holding the deck. The cards are little larger than an average playing card, making them bit easier to hold. Choice of colors is appealing. Also, the alphabet cards contain a word with its meaning starting from that letter. You can read that while holding the cards, (also possibly allowing you to create another game!!).Price:Price is quite competitive given the prices of similar card games in the market. Price includes shipping.Highly recommended especially if you have young kids. Go for it !!

A nice game. Can help in building vocabulary of your kids. Can be played in 2-3 variations.Be ready to play with your child if he/she is around 5. If 8+ kids should be able to handle on their own.Equally enjoyable for adults as well

a tad expensive but the joy that my son has had so far with this game more than makes up for it. My son has always been interested in kids' crosswords, scrabble so I knew that this should have made him happy. Given that he is already aware of and has played UNO, this game didn't take for him to learn. What a joy it is, to see my son play this game with so much enthusiasm.I have already recommended this to few of my office colleagues who have kids. A must buy for kids who like a bit of english mixed up with cards and gaming :)

Waste product

Very intuitive game for adults and children alike. The simplicity of the game undermines the idea of this invention. Educative on one hand and easy to handle on the other (You cannot carry and play scrabble in all places). You would love this game and it makes an ideal tool for spending quality time with your family. My son and his friends love this game - I am going to make this a standard gift for all the birthday parties he is invited :)
