Mederla Wooden Potting Bench Table and Storage Cabinet with Metal Top for Outdoor/Indoor

I am pleasantly surprised at this item. It's larger than I was expecting with plenty of room for small tool storage. The height comes up to my waist (I'm just under six feet) so the work table is a very accessable. The material is sturdy and very appealing to the eye with a kind of rustic, antique look to it. It was easy to assemble with just a phillips screwdriver and the directions were mostly good. One thing I would caution on is be careful when attaching the sides as there are four screwholes in the back and three in the front which are not immediately indicated on the directions unless you keep a close eye on it. Other than that, everything lined up very well. Its relatively light so fairly easy to move even though it does not have wheels on the bottom - not an issue for me. There are adjusters on the leg bottoms so you can easily even it out so that it stands sturdy and even. I don't have a real comparison for this, but to me, the price was very fair and I have no reservations with what it cost - especially since there were others that were a lower price but had an additional delivery fee associated, so it evened out. Definitely worth a look and I'd buy it again if needed.

We just put it together and it hasn’t been tested, but so far, so good. The cabinet looks good and feels sturdy. It’s a great height for potting or for holding drinks. It was one of the easiest to assemble products I have ever encountered. The pieces are all there, the instructions are clear, and the parts fit together as they should. The instructions said it would take two people 45 minutes to assemble, and they were right. The feet are adjustable so slight variation in the supporting surface can be accommodated. The wood is soft and looks like it won’t last a lifetime, so we are following the manufacturer’s advice to add a water-resistant finish, and we will cover it or bring it inside for the winter. We won’t load it up until it’s dry, but I expect it to hold everything I bought it for.

Very nicely made and looks exactly like the photo. Top is metal (I know because my phone has a magnetic case and it clings to it.) We have our patio cushions and BBQ utensils in there and it makes for a perfect storage area for these items. So nice!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose this one (after many hours of searching) for the price, size, and metal top. Assembly was pretty easy despite only having a hand-held screw driver instead of a drill. I keep mine on my back deck and use it for gardening tools and bird feed bins. Been working great so far! I deducted a star mainly because it’s not the most sturdy of storage cabinets. It works, but I’d prefer a more solid piece (though I don’t want to pay a ton for more solid wood so that’s kind of on me)

Got it put together pretty easily, seems sturdy. Says it’s a 2 person job but I did it by myself. Looks great on my back porch.
