Works exactly as advertised. The price may be a little steep, considering the utility. But all competitor products are way overpriced anyway.The glass seems thin and slightly flimsy, but it manages to hold up. The lid doesn't closecompletely, but that may be by design.Besides the above points, it works well for what it was intended - Pressurizing a hot water - coffee mixture.

Really worth the price... I have been using it daily for the past 3 weeks and it's perfect....

I own this product about 1 month and have used it maybe 10 times. It is already broken. The connection between the rod and the sieve broke, so there is no more pushing down of the coffee grinds.This piece of ... is not worth carrying home.

Very fragile. Broke after 2 weeks of use !

Good oroduct. I had been using a Bodum coffee press for years. When that broke, I tried various options on Amazon, and settled on the Glenbunr press. The product was delivered on time, and the packaging was top notch. The product itself is quite good, The glass beaker is of very good material, and 600 ml size is quite decent. Only problem is that unlike a Bodum coffee press, the product design is a bit clumsy. It is difficult, if not impossible to remove the glass beaker from its stainless housing for washing. So, in effect, you have to wash the beaker along with the housing, This is a bitt clumsy. Otherwise, everything else is fine.

All french press utilizes the same design, what makes a good or bad product is the filter. The filter in this product is not very intact and it is very flimsy which causes gaps and often coffee ground gets out. Apart from that, there aren't any other complaints. The handle is solid and intact.
