I purchased this 3M adhesive remover hoping it would remove sticky residue off of a garage door that I had custom made. When I first had it installed I put a vinyl cover on the bottom of the door because I have a TNR Trap Neuter and Release Cat that stays in my garage over night. I didn’t want him damaging this brand new door. Unfortunately the adhesive cover peeled and left a very sticky residue that turned black over time. I tried so many things to get it off the door. Various adhesive removal sprays alcohol vinegar. I used a scraper; very little or nothing came off. I bought this product and sprayed it on. I waited a couple of minutes and wiped it off with very little effort with a dry rag. I couldn’t believe how easy the residue came off!! I am sorry I didn’t try this stuff sooner. This 3M adhesive remover is now my go to adhesive remover because of ease of use and the end results. I highly recommend it.

This product worked great to remove the clean air vehicle (CAV) decal residue from my car without damaging the paint. I peeled the sticker off first, which left a residue saying “void.” Then I sprayed the residue with this product, waited a few minutes, buffed, and repeat. It took 3 iterations but all the residue is now gone and the paint & glossy finish look perfect. Good job once again, 3M!

I was removing window tint from my car and I tried GooGone, heat and WD-40. All of them worked but was very tedious. This stuff worked almost immediately and without a lot of scraping. Highly recommend.

This works almost too good. I used it to remove the clear plastic chip-guard from my hood that was peeling and nearly 20 years on there. Oh, it worked great to get the gunk off, but all the spray that got on to the clear plastic headlights is now a white drip etched into them. So heed their warnings and cover up ANYTHING you don't want this to get on to. Trust me, I didn't let it sit on those headlamps either. In the time it took to notice and get a clean un-gunked-up paper towel/rag is how long it took to ruin them. I should have taped them off and covered with plastic in hind-sight, I just didn't think this stuff would be that "powerful". Similarly, you don't want it to sit on the paint either. I can see a slight dulling of the hood where this was applied. I think some wax and buffing will blend it (next summer job), but hey it's better than the trash chip-guard I had and I was worried that'd never come off with all the adhesive under it. Now I have a different problem. LOL
