Excellent Quality for the Price
I have been using this pot everyday for the last three months and it is going strong. It has exceeded my every expectation of an Indian made moka. The body is aluminium with a silicone gasket. The handle is sufficiently sturdy. Moka pots prove to be great investments over the long term if they're cared for properly.Remember, the pot is aluminium and coffee or even water retention after washing tends to act as a corrosive. It is best to wash and dry the moka after every time it is used. Also avoid using detergent too often, maybe once or twice a week is good, other times just separate all the parts (including the gasket using a blunt knife or a spoon) and run them in lukewarm water. This will also remove the oils secreted by the coffee, which if not washed might go rancid and spoil your next coffee.I realize it's a long procedure. Over time, it will hardly take over 5 minutes. Here are some tips for a great tasting espresso. I skip the grinding part as I get the beans ground at a store.1 - Use room temperature water. Warm water may save you two minutes but it will result in a weaker extraction.2- Always fill the heating vessel only till the water line touches the bottom of the safety valve.3 - Grind the coffee slightly coarser than an espresso grind. Too coarse and the water will pass through too quickly. Use freshly ground beans. (A ceramic burr hand grinder is cheap and works great)4 - Tamping - Fill the basket to the brim but definitely do not tamp with 30 pounds of pressure and a twist... Do pack it in a bit with your thumb or the palm of your hand. The trick is to achieve an oozing of the coffee through the top, not a gushing flow. Experiment but be careful not to tamp too hard. The grind also plays a factor here.5 - tighten the pot just enough to avoid reducing the lifespan of the gasket, yet securely so that the water does not leak out of there.6 - Lowest flame is best works best. You won't risk burning your coffee. The whole brewing process at this flame takes around 5 minutes.7 - Keep lid open while brewing. This way you can monitor the process and see when coffee is ready. Turn off the heat and shut the lid right when the bubbles start appearing at the nozzle. This prevents from burning your brewed coffee. Your coffee is ready when the gurgling sound ceases.

Great product
I am using this pot almost daily since last two months. It's very good and durable. You need to put on stove with low flame and good height so that espresso comes out of nozel slowly. I attached picture how I keep on stove. A great cup of coffee on morning to start with.Edit after a year use: Still the same and getting the same flavour. It's been used daily. Even rubber didn't get any damage. My advice to get best coffee out of it, place the pot on grill on low flame, also try to cover only half pot on flame as I have shown in picture.

An excellent little coffee maker.
Mocha Pots (aka Stovetop Espresso Makers) have been around since the 1930s. This is a standard reliable vintage tech that works. This Mocha Pot is an excellent coffee maker. It is made entirely of aluminum and feels sturdy. 2-Cup is a minimum that one should get, as anything smaller is too less. Mind you however that as with all Mocha Pots the bottom diameter is very small and it will not fit on the regular gas stove top. A converter will be required which is easily available from any kitchen shop. If the pot sputters right from the beginning, it means that it has not been tightly screwed on. A lot many video tutorials are available online. This would make a great gift to a coffee lover, or for oneself.Edit: Having used the Moka Pot for a few days, one major thing I have come across is that the Indian burner is too big for the pot. So, here's the solution I employ. As soon as I can see the steam coming out from the spout, I hold and raise the pot above the burner and adjust the distance so that the coffee stops sputtering, and flows as a steady stream. This took a few attempts, but now the coffee is great.

Sturdy, shiny, good built, & decent value for money.
Firstly it's reallly shiny!!!Nothing like a new utensil just bough from the store. Being aluminum Its pretty thick too, it feels sturdy.Build quality is really tough except the handle which could have been a bit more thicker, but it's overall hard plastic and has a pretty firm grip. The filter inside has a good seal and is water resistant when tightly shut and the vents for the filter is decently spaced allowing more extraction off liquid.Although 2 cups Is a bit small. The overall extracted liquid is full of flavor and not bitter.(please note once the liquid starts turning transparent remove from heat and rest the pot for few seconds and pour your expresso)Use a very low flame to extract the perfect concoction

Very nice.i get hassle free n proper decoction every time. But the size is too small. U get 4th part of a cup(tea cup).if u want to buy single cup coffee buy 2 cup coffee maker. Size is very small. I use a grill to place it properly on stove. These 2 r only flaws.

You should order one immediately.
Well, there is no other word for it, it’s excellent. It’s solid, robust, heavy, and rather perfectly priced. The only downside, it’s incredibly small, so small that it is almost impossible to sit it on a gas stove.

Good product, Good use and good espresso 🤟🏻
Just what I needed for a strong espresso. Instead of my bulky home espresso machine it’s easier and efficient for a single shot of espresso and to keep my caffeine intake in check. Definitely value for money as I I think I have already utilised it’s purchase value within the 1st week. Go for it since it’s cost effective than an espresso machine and will also help you to keep count on your caffeine.

A must have product for any coffee lover!
It's an excellent product if used correctly. Wash it with warm water after each use and don't tighten it too much when you store it, or you'll wear out the rubber seal. I ordered the 2 cup size, but it only fills one of my espresso mugs! Not sure, but I might have a larger than usual espresso mug, go figure. A good purchase, thoroughly recommend!
