This is a very sweet little set. Very well made and the various shapes of the cookies with the corresponding topping shape helps the child to learn to match the shapes. They also fit any shape cookie if you aren't interested in doing that.The mit and utensils are a nice touch. The drawstring bag to keep everything in is perfect! We had fun with this set. Get a little tea set and you're good to go.

My daughter is 9, but still loves pretend play with her dolls, so asked for this set to supplement her collection of play foods. The colors and patterns are fun, and she liked them being sliceable. The oven mitt is too small for her, though, and this set is clearly designed for the younger crowd, the ones who may still put play food in their mouths. They are velcro front and back (you cannot put the tops directly on the cookie sheet without the bottom cookie, as that is double sided loop, where the top and the sheet are both hook), but the included spatula is too thick to be much use for separating the cookie from the pan. My daughter tried, but ended up just using her hands to pull the cookies off instead. The knife is thinner and does work better to slice them. You can mix and match, but aside from matching shapes, that's not really very entertaining as all the bases are the same color. It's not like you can make new combinations. It's fun, and the quality is good, but it'll probably get boring pretty quickly for an older child, in my opinion. As a bare bones set for the pre-k crowd and a shape matching activity, solid item.

My toddler loves this cookie set. Having a hot mitton just like mom is really fun. But the cookies themselves have such a unique twist. They velcro to the cookie sheet, but then you can cut the frosting/ topping off the cookies and change up the designs which was such a cool unique play.

This is a high quality role play baking set perfect for the preschool age group. We got this as a gift for our 3 year old niece to use with her play kitchen, and it was a huge hit. The colors are bright, and the finish is smooth. I especially like that the “cookies” attach to the cookie sheet with hook and loop so that she can walk around with it to deliver cookies to everyone in the room. The set includes 12 colorful cookies, an oven mitt, spatula, knife, cookie sheet, and storage bag to hold the accessories (the sheet is too big to fit). The knife and spatula also help with fine motor skill development. If you have a young one who likes to bake with you in the kitchen, this pretend play set will be a huge hit!

This slice and bake wooden cookie play set is so much fun. It's very cute. Plenty of great details to keep kids interested. They had lots of fun cutting, baking, and serving these up. A nice addition to any kitchen or cooking play set up.
