Hooray for Anna Hibiscus! (Walker Racing Reads)

Our second dip into the wonderful world of Anna Hibiscus and have found another joyful collection of stories. Our 5 year old son loves them, a wonderful balance of text and beautiful pictures and some poignant and important messages and topics introduced especially 'The other side of the city' which I found incredibly moving and was a wonderful way to open up a conversation with our son about poverty. Big fan of these beautiful books.

Brilliant and funny adventure stories about a mixed heritage little girl set in Africa and Canada to read aloud to boys and girls from 3 years, read themselves from 6/7years. Chapter book with plenty of great illustrations.

My son really likes to read this book before sleeping.

I purchased this book for my 8year old son, following a signing by the Author at his school, as part of Black History. He thoroughly enjoyed reading the book, so we will definitely be purchasing the other books.
