Seal the port for bass and no port noise
Cover the port completely and you're able to hear way lower notes. for me i was able to hear down to 31hz with it covered. need to make a sealed version. also while doing this you hear a lot of wind coming from the wire terminal. I had to remove it and I used hot glue to close all the holes cause I had nothing else. completely fixed it though

Its ok
Not all walls are 1/2". Some are 1/4". Felt pads come off afternoon time due to low quality glue. Can just reglue them with something else. Exterior finish is a sticker, that also starts to peel quickly. Otherwise, it's ok.

Hole Diameter is not consistent on each box. Lots of improvements needed.
If you don't mind doing extra work, this can do the job. I've ordered 2 pairs, and each speaker box has a slightly different hole diameter which means I had to file down the hole to fit my speakers in. That is a very messy, and possibly unhealthy job, if you inhale toxic MDF particles. I wore a mask. With 30 minutes of extra work and clean up they did the job. Other problems are the stupid locations for the port and wire terminal, and the noticeable seam for the vinyl wrap. Also, the terminal should be binding posts. There are no other options for this kind of product on Amazon, sadly. Wish they had more 4" speaker box in better finishes and quality.

Might need to modify for some "5 inch " speakers
Like the title states. The midbass speaker I planned on putting in this box is not fitting by roughly 2/10ths of an inch. It's funny how there is really no exact standard when it comes to speaker sizes. Most 5-inch speakers require different sized openings, so it's hard for a box maker to know exactly how big to make the cutout. The speaker frames and magnets are the reason for this. Anyway, the box seems like it's made ok. All of the internal seams have a glue line running along them, so it should hold together ok. The vinyl/sticker adhesive or whatever you want to call it on the outside needed to be pressed down because it had bubbled up in a couple of places. I just laid it on that side after pressing them down, and it has been OK since. I am adding the legs to this because it will be used with a home audio system, and this is going to be placed in a corner. Once I get the hole cut out more and the speaker installed, I don't forsee any issues. Midbass speakers wouldn't blow the box apart anyway.

Not bad
This is a pretty good speaker box. It could be a little better made. It is a little flimsy and bulky, but it works as it should.

Seems to be made OK
This subwoofer box seems OK but the 5 inch model can only accept smaller speakers (must be less than 4.5 inches for their inner diameter which is proving to be harder to find than I expected. It seems like I'll have to settle for a smaller coaxial speaker instead of trying to squeeze out any sub bass from this tiny enclosure (unless I can enlarge it to fit 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 inch subwoofers).
