Good quality and pricing
This is my favorite dry shampoo for reasonable price and how good it works. It doesn’t have a strong scent or give a bad texture. When I run out, I generally price compare at local store vs amazon. Usually it’s Amazon for the win.

NEVER going back to my old routine!
I just got this and used it right away since today is my day 3 since washing which is usually my apply dry shampoo day and let me just say, this stuff is fantastic! For the past 2-3 years, I have used a cornstarch, cocoa powder mixture as my dry shampoo. Been training my hair to not be washed every day despite a very oily scalp. I have a lot of hair but it's very fine. I'd heard a lot of bad stuff about canned dry shampoo and the white residue it left and unmanageability of it so I researched natural stuff and started using the cornstarch. The cornstarch mixture worked pretty well, my hair smelled like chocolate and the haze it left on my hair was tolerable...until it wasn't. I started feeling the need to give my hair routine a change. I did a little research and came across the Batiste and this brand. I decided to go with the, Not Your Mothers bc I have loved other products of theirs in the past and I love coconut-scented stuff. Watched a quick youtube tutorial on how to best use dry shampoo, looked over some reviews on here and gave it a go. Parted my hair and sprayed on my most oily problem spots... when I was done ran a brush through my hair, all traces of oiliness/greasiness... gone! I saw no white residue on my brown locks other than the times I was a little closer to my head when spraying...this combed right out. My hair is so voluminous and looks better than my wash day hair. There is no residue or heavy feeling. And the SMELL! I am in love with the scent! I never minded the chocolate smell from my cornstarch mixture but this is WAY better! Another bonus, it's a lot easier and less messy than my cornstarch mixture. My husband and I take yearly trips to Mexico and I cannot wait to use this there seeing my hair is usually particularly unmanageable with the humidity levels and I usually have to end up washing it daily when we are there. I am curious to see if I can boost my number of days in between washing to 4 or even 5... we'll see.

Great for bleached hair, and for texture
I've used both this and Batiste, and I feel both have their own uses. However, my very Asian hair, currently bleached to platinum blonde, really loves the way this product behaves with my hair. If used before bed, and brushed through well, it keeps me from having too much sebum build up over night. Because I live in SoCal, a dry area, I think my scalp responds by trying to overproduce sebum. I can coconut oil all I want, just how it works. But I also love this when I need some texture. Even after bleaching, my Asian hair doesn't like to hold onto things like certain buns or a cloth headband. Headbands slip off my head slowly, over time. I hate fixing them. The texture this adds avoids slippage, which is important if I'm working out. I also enjoy the coconut scent. Sometimes it's hit or miss with products, but this smells like a roasted, coconut scent. I do like having that beachy wave look as well, and feel this offers a nice matte finish if I decide to use "snake" foam curlers.

Hated at first, now love it!
Really didn't like this at first but keep reading! When used strictly as dry shampoo I was super disappointed. It left little residue flakes in the roots and my hair was still greasy. Their tapioca dry shampoo works much better for this purpose. I kept this for a couple months in my closet and got to thinking what it would look like if I used strictly as a texturizing spray in the body of my hair. And voila! My hair looks gorgeous! It gave my hair body and lift, defined the waves a bit and took away the frizz! I've gotten several compliments since using the product this way. My only qualm about it now is the scent. It a good smell but so strong. Will only spray near an open window with the bathroom fan on. Mind you, I'm sensitive to fragrance so if you're not, it may be great for you.

Perfect for curling/waving hair!
First of all, I love everything coconut scented and this smells AMAZING! I use different dry shampoos for different phases of my hair during “non washing” days. I find this works very well when I’m using a waving tool or wand in my hair. I spray the crown of my head and sides and just shake it all over and it gives my hair the boost it needs. It soaks up oil really well and doesn’t have an over powering residue. I really believe it helps my hair curl better and keep the style in place. Product amount lasts long too. I ordered a few months ago and use it quite often and I’m not even halfway done one bottle yet. Great value!

Smells good, works okay
This is definitely the best smelling dry shampoo I've ever used, very coconutty and fresh. But unfortunately it only works okay. I was using Batiste for months, but Amazon took it off of subscribe and save recently so I decided to try this one instead. It does do a pretty good job at absorbing the oil in my hair, but it has made my scalp super itchy, dulls the color of my hair so it looks like dirty dishwater instead of blonde, and it leaves my hair feeling like straw. It's hard to even run my fingers through my hair after using this, it feels like I've just used a mild hold hairspray, it gets super tangly and starts clumping together, and I get creases in my hair even from just tucking it behind my ear. When I'm freshly washed, none of that happens, my hair is bright, soft, and stays straight unless I put it up in a tight ponytail for hours. Needless to say, once these cans run out (they do run out pretty quickly, I'm almost done with can 1 of the set and it was just delivered on the 1st), I'll be trying something different again, most likely a powder instead of another aerosol.

My absolute fav!
I don't know how I ever went 23 years without using dry shampoo... I first tried Batiste and it was good, awesome scent (rose), but I found the leftover white residue to be strongest from Batiste and my hair didn't feel as light and airy as I like. With Not Your Mother's, the scent is not my favorite as I personally don't like sweet-sugary smelling or tasting things, but for those of you who do, you will love it! I get compliments all the time on how "yummy" my hair smells. This dry shampoo is a survival resource for me now.. I can go 4 days without washing my hair all thanks to this stuff. Albeit, by day 4 my hair does feel pretty dry, as expected. I'm banking on this dry shampoo to prevent me from looking like a disheveled wreck every day during grad school. I actually prefer the look of my "dirty hair" when I use this stuff rather than freshly washed hair! Great price too.
