Works great
Really effective at distribution. Found this to be much more consistent and effective than wdt. Seeeing less channeling.Would be great to have ears to fit directly into 54mm breville / sage grinder. Also would be good to have magnetised components

Gets the job done, but doesn't live up to the Weber version
Made of a non-ferrous metal so it has no magnetic properties which is a bummer for a few reasons. Might be to some other's preference. Despite its non magnetic properties, it is highly susceptible to static as coffee grounds easily stick to it's surfaces over time, and eventually must be brushed or otherwise cleaned off which can be a fairly frustrating thing to have to do. Tolerances on the pieces that fit together aren't great and grounds tend to build up in the nooks and crannies which again can be frustrating to have to clean often. The finish is also not very robust and easily accumulates nicks and dents. As far as the Weber Blind Shaker goes it's a decent knockoff, but just doesn't get the right the things that the original does get right.

Has no effect on coffee
The product is well made and of very good quality. However, it does very little to separate the grounds, clumping is present and it is very difficult to empty the grounds in to the portafilter.I’ve swapped to a £6 magnetic ring and used my old WDT tool which has been far more effective.

Not necessary but a fun addition to your coffee routine
I recently picked up this espresso shaker, and it’s been a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the design is pretty innovative. It’s like combining a traditional dosing cup with a shaker, so you just place it on your portafilter, give it a twist, and your coffee grounds fall evenly into the basket. It does make the whole process a bit more fun with that clanging sound! The upgraded lifting rod is a nice touch too. It’s got this hanging buckle instead of a screw connection, which means it feels smoother when you’re using it, and it won’t just fall off in the middle of your coffee prep. Plus, you can hang it on the side of the cup for easy storage. It’s versatile—works well with grinders, scales, and even for pour-over coffee. The wide diameter helps avoid spills, and it’s easy to clean because the inner wall is smooth. You can hold up to 50g of coffee, which is handy. On the downside, it’s a bit pricey for what it is, and the single rating I saw suggests it might not be perfect for everyone. But if you're into home barista gear and looking for something a bit different, this might be worth a shot. Plus, the brand does offer a year of after-sales service, so there’s that added reassurance.

Wasn’t As Great As Expected
Like most, I’ve followed the forums and watched YouTube videos on how great the blind shakers were so I had to try it. My previous method was spritzing the beans before grinding, WDT, then using a distribution tool. I was content with that, but wondered how much better this would be. In the end, it took longer, was messier, and grounds were retaining on every surface. I stuck with it for a month, but ultimately, I went back to my previous setup. If you’re happy with your current workflow, it isn’t worth the change IMO. The tool is built well and seals as it should. The satin finish is nice, but the performance wasn’t what I was after.

Coffee dosing cup.
Love the design for this dosing cup, extremely sleek looking and it feels like top tier quality with a black matte finish. Was easy to use with my machine, and the end result was a beautiful smooth cup of coffee that felt so velvety and flavourful.
