Very sturdy
As we are we getting older, finding it easier to in and out of hot tub and great for placing towels in a handy location. Easy to get under hot tub like that I do not have to bolt to hot tub

Perfect solution for inflatable hot tub
Easy to install. Sturdy and perfect for assisting getting in/out of inflatable hot tub. I also bought a set of stairs (2 steps) to use with this handle. The combination makes getting in/out so much easier.

Wish I had bought this sooner!
Wasn’t that hard to install under the hot tub. Took a little engineering and an empty tub.I’m glad I have this. Getting older, and really helps to have this grab bar getting in and out. I love that the height is adjustable. It’s a really good product.

Lift Up the Hot Tub?
We like the handrail for our hot tub and it comes with a large steel plate to resist tipping it over when you use it for climbing in or out of the tub. This would be very solid if you could slip the plate under the tub but...who can lift up their tub full of of water? Maybe if you install it when the tub is being set up? Placing the plate under steps does not seem secure unless you have very heavy steps or you are already on the steps when you use the rail. But starting to get on the steps or out of the tup and there is little weight to hold down the handrail securely. Maybe next time we change the water we can lift up the tub enough to slip under the plate?

horrible - liability issue
buyer beware - it is not sturdy - when you put your weight into it it fails - if you THINK there are holes in the base plate in order to bolt it down to the deck - you are wrong. if your hot tub is recessed into your deck it cannot be used at all - my son grabbed it when getting into the hot tub and the bar fell over with him - he landed on his face and looks like he has been dragged behind an 18-wheeler. do not be mislead....your hot tub must be sitting on a tabletop deck - if the deck is built around your hot tub and your hot tub is on pavers on the ground ... you can not use this thing. manufacturer wants you to drain the hot tub and put the hot tub on the metal foot to keep the arm in place - the arm or base is not fastened down at all - this is not something for a big person or elderly person or disabled person to use - it slips from under the hot tub and you will crash.

Works well with a little modification
As mentioned in other reviews the hot tub has to be lifted enough to slide the base plate underneath an empty tub. After filling the tub, the handle is fairly sturdy without being attached to the side of the hot tub but would probably be more secure with an attachment which is not included. The height / rotation adjusting screws do not hold the handle from rotating even when screwed in as tight as possible by hand. A few layers of electrical tape around the inner pole where the screws hit the pole seems to help prevent rotation fairly well.On unpacking I found that the paint / coating on the underside of a curved portion of the handle, about 1/2 inch wide and 3/4 inch long was chipped off exposing the metal there. Through Amazon, I was able to work with the supplier and and get a replacement. The supplier was very responsive to my request and provided a replacement within a very reasonable time.

Install this BEFORE you fill the hot tub!
Liked the sturdiness of the rail. Cannot get it under the hot tub once it is filled up and doubtful I can when I empty it. Liked that the rail is adjustable too.
