SpigenUltra Hybrid Designed for Pixel 9 Pro XL Case (2024) [Anti-Yellowing], [Military-Grade Protection] - Crystal Clear

I love Spigen cases. I've used their cases for the last 4 phones I've had and never had a problem. No cracks or other damage after some pretty nasty drops/falls. Superior protection. Installation was super easy as always. Very simple design and not bulky at all.

Looks like there are others experiencing what I came on to write myself...and this review pretty much nailed why I wanted to review it - "When holding the phone in your hand, the sides make a "sticky, tap" sound. Kind of like if you had something stuck to the bottom of your shoe while walking..."That's pretty much dead on accurate. It's not just the buttons, either, but the entire both sides of the cased phone. You can visibly see the phase case bend inward on the sides when you press on it. It's for this reason alone that I am returning it today.Spigen has been tried and true for me, with the Liquid Air securely and successfully housing my Pixel 7 Pro for the last two years, so this was a disappointment.I've since ordered the Spigen Liquid Air to replace this one and it arrives today. I do hope Spigen got the measurements way more accurately there than they did here on the Ultra Hybrid.If you want a perfectly snug fit, then this Ultra Hybrid, touted with "precision cuts," is not the case you should purchase.

I have used Spigen cases since the Pixel 6 pro...they have always had a great fit and great protection...really disappointed in this case for my new Pixel 9 Pro XL...this case is loose all around...the sides have a large amount of flex / gap where dust will be able to get in and potentially scratch the finish of the phone... the case actually started to come off the phone simply by taking it out of my pocket...I will be returning this case...

I have used Spigen cases for at least my last two phones. They are a good value and usually do a great job.They missed the mark on this one. It almost feels like someone got the tolerances wrong when they were molding. The case matches the shape and fits within the case properly but just like other described, there is some "wiggle". It makes weird squeaking sounds and generally feels like the device is moving around within the case.I will be returning and looking for other options.

So glad I didn't read the reviews before I bought this, it fits like a glove! I think a lot of people are trying to put it on the Pixel 9 Pro and not the XL. This is for the XL ONLY! It fits snug, doesn't make a clicking noise and is a wonderful case. You WON'T be disappointed if you put this one the right phone! Definitely recommend!

I've used Spigen cases off and on for a very long time. I typically get an Ultra Hybrid clear case for any of my new phones. This year for the Pixel 9 Pro XL, I'm kind of disappointed in this case. It looks nice enough, but for some reason this year the case around the edges of the phone feel very squishy. It's not a tight fit. And the buttons are squishy too. When holding the phone in your hand, the sides make a "sticky, tap" sound. Kind of like if you had something stuck to the bottom of your shoe while walking. It's just not a good feeling case this year. I guess the flat sides of the phone have something to do with it this year.For several years now my favorite case has been the clear case that Ringke makes. But theirs wasn't available yet. As soon as it comes out I'll be ordering one of those. Which was my intention anyways. The Ringke case usually has a slightly higher lip at the four corners too.On a positive note this Spigen case has good grip. And of course it was available at this phones launch.

The fit is not so good. There is a bigger gap around the camera bump so there is a lot dust that went in just after a day of use. The sides are also squeaky when pressed like it's loosely sticky. Not the quality expected from Spigen.

Fits great, allows access to buttons and speakers. Most importantly, drop protection!
