I ran out of time to order a cake so I decided to make it myself. I can't do detailed work so I thought I'd give these strips a try. It took a couple of tries to get a gold to stick. I eventually ended up using Wilton's edible spray and that worked great. The strips looked good when I put them on but after time they seemed to dry a bit and start to peel back from the cake, but that might have been user error. I'll admit they didn't taste good at all but it was easy to peel off when eating. I would definitely use them again because it added a quick extra flair to the cake that I wouldn't have been able to achieve otherwise.

Me sirvió perfectamente para poner en buttercream. Solo matice con polvo dorado comestible.

These turned out beautiful! None of my pieces were broken, they dried quickly when airbrushed and painted with luster dust. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the description says they are 14 inches long, but they were only about 12 inches which affected the way my ends met up and symmetry. the middle tier of my cake also used premade lace with a different design and that one was 14 inches as listed. I had a difficult time using water to attach them but clear piping gel did the trick, and the bride loved the look!
