Excellent, Exceptional, Extraordinary!
Pardon the alliterative headline, but it’s true. This enameled cast iron Dutch oven reminds me of the prestigious $400+ choice (with the French name), but this pot offers an affordable and accessible option. It works very well, heats beautifully, and pops right in the oven. It’s great for anything you’d choose a Dutch oven for, including bread. I snapped some before photos to hopefully offer a clear idea on the enameling. This *is* a cast iron pot and it features an enameled coating. This pot weighs a good 12 lbs. — it’s definitely cast iron and I’m not sure why others are asserting that it isn’t. Note that there’s a high-domed lid for this Dutch oven and it can do more than merely baking bread. The other styles are much more versatile in that you can cook with both pieces, but this one is great for a variety of cooking needs, as well. For what it is, this pot receives 5 stars for materials and craftsmanship. I’d give it 4 stars since it’s not as versatile as other versions of this cookware since only one piece can be used to cook; however, it is accurately and honestly advertised. The manufacturer did not proclaim that the lid would also be used for preparing meals. So, I rated this Dutch oven 5 stars. It cooks exceptionally and is a wonderful addition to our kitchen.

Gorgeous color and nice quality material
I absolutely love this Dutch oven! I needed a new one because my old one was put through the ringer. I had my old one for years and loved it and wasn't sure another one would be as good but this one exceeded my expectations. Not only is it beautiful but it works so well and it is very good quality material.I love that the lid doubles as another baking pan so this is like getting 2 for the price of 1 so I think this is a very good value. I made a roast in in when I used it for the first time and it was just fantastic. I love even more that it was so easy to clean. Manufacturer recommends spraying with nonstick spray before cooking in it and that made it a breeze to clean. I hand washed and only had to do minimal scrubbing. You have to dry it right away because the edges have exposed cast iron that could rust if you let it air dry.I am over the moon with this Dutch oven and I fully expect to get years of use out of this. Super happy with this and would highly recommend buying if you are in need of a great baking/stewing piece. This is beautiful and great quality. A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Good cast iron piece with some trade-offs
I am a fan of cooking with cast iron even as a vegan; these pots are very good for making large batches of soup or sauce that requires long cook time, plus this is about the perfect size for baking a sourdough loaf...speaking of which I should probably rescue that starter in the back of my fridge. But i digress.I own several pieces from Le Creuset and Staub and Kirkland (which is likely one of the former), as well as a bargain no-name piece I got from JC Penney for about the same price as this one. This pot isn't quite Le Creuset quality but it's also like 1/6 of the price which makes it a fantastic bargain. The enamel coating is even and looks durable enough. Color is beautiful. The dual-use lid+pan is a clever idea, but here's the tradeoffs -- you lose the ridges/bumps in the lid which will impede long term braising effectiveness, so maybe consider using a different piece if you have a moisture sensitive dish like a roast. Second, since the bottom of the pan needs to be smooth, you have no top handle. THis makes it more tricky to use as a lid.Are these trade-offs worth the extra utility and price savings? Absolutely. Get this pot, it's a smashing deal.

Fantastic set!
I can’t say enough about the quality & overall usage that you can get from this Dutch oven set! The lid as stated, can also be used as a smaller skillet as its handles are on the sides, and/or used as a lid on the Dutch oven.As you can almost see on my photos to the side, I also have this item in a larger red skillet & it’s become my “go to” skillet so I was extremely excited to see this set listed. The enameled interior is so easy to clean! I use a little bit of olive oil when I use this cookware & anything that adheres to the bottom cleans up SO easily! Wait until the pot cools and then wash as usual. When using this, don’t use metal utensils as the instructions state.I’m anxious to make bread dough & use the Dutch oven to make the bread to get that crunchy crust! These are a great size, and I can’t stress enough how nice it is to use this enameled cast iron set to cook with!I highly recommend this purchase based on usage, quality & great price!

My Go To When Cooking
I love my Nuovva Cast Iron Dutch Oven Pot. I got the tangy orange colored one and it is beautiful. So pretty looking, I can leave it out on the counter or stove daily just to admire it n think of stuff to cook in it. So far, my casseroles and pot roast have came out delicious after cooking them in it. Thankfully there was not a knob on my lid. So the lid can be used as a seperate pot for cooking (as described). Just be mindful that you can't use any metal utensils (could scratch the enamel) only wooden or silicone while using this Dutch oven pot. And its NOT for outdoor grills, outdoor open flame cooking (inside gas stove is fine) or the microwave. The pot is oven safe to 500 degrees. Other than that, you can cook til your heart is content with it. For the price point, I am EXTREMELY satisfied. Would recommend.

Good, sturdy Dutch Oven
Dutch Oven is heavy, enameled cast-iron. It heated up well on my electric range, and I made my customary veggie stew with it. I sauteed onions with no oil, just a bit of water added to keep it from sticking, and it did a very good job. The whole dish worked very well, as the iron kept the heat at a low temperature. I haven’t used the lid as a skillet yet—I would expect that oil would be needed for cooking in that. However, it makes a great lid for the pot. It’s very heavy, as is to be expected, so it will likely be used more by my husband for his roasts and so on. I am planning on baking potatoes in it for its next trial. The color is very attractive, and it will make a nice fruit basket on our pass-through when we aren’t cooking with it.
