Your Lie in April 1 (YOUR LIE IN APRIL GN)

Having already read the original Japanese version, I was very eager to read the English-translated version of this. Your Lie In April (Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso) is a brilliant story of young love, overcoming your past and forging ahead. In Arima Kousei's case, he gets quite the push from the other main character of the manga, Kaori Miyazono. As a 28 year old male, I'm not afraid to say that reading this brought tears to my eyes several times. I'm not one for reviews usually since I'm awful at writing them but this really deserves as many people reading it as possible. Even then, if you're not a manga reader, or you just want to hear the beautiful music of the manga, there is an anime adaptation that is now complete. The anime adapts the manga very faithfully and covers the entirety of the manga, covering the whole thing. While I adored the manga, the anime may be somewhat better as it brings the characters to life with animation, voices and the music. So even if you don't buy this, please try the anime. You'll not regret it.

Bought because i love the anime. Brilliant

This is different to what I usually go for, then again I haven't read a lot of manga.First thing I like about this is the lead character is male, second, all the characters are different, loveable and not clichéd. Third it makes you feel a variety of emotions, fourth the story is definitely original and stands on its own two feet, fifth the artwork.Will definitely be buying the second.
