These plates are more like a dessert plate size, but perfect for my family! We love them!!! Perfect.

I love blue but it has to be dark and rich! The color of these stoneware bowls fit this description. First of all, the color is nice and deep throughout. The slight variation in tone is intentional and makes these bowl unique. Secondly, Being stoneware, these are heavy, sturdy pieces like we used in the 80’s. I can warm them in the oven to keep food warm when served. Additionally, I love the shape of the bowls; they have a flat bottom with the edges coming up 1.5 inches up the side. Great for so many foods including salads but maybe NOT appropriate for soups (not deep). Again, these are heavy so if you have any issues with your grip or wrist strength these might not be comfortable to carry. They do not stack well and can break if dropped on a tile or possibly wood floor. I recommend for those who love rich blues on stone wear and the modern shape/style of the bowls.

Love the bowels. They are a little on the fragile side and I worry about chipping them. Love the color. Green is just the right hue.

Great weight, price and dishwasher safe. Use with a tablecloth or placemats though, so you don’t scuff up your table. LOVE the green color. I do wish it was just a tiny bit bigger, 10” rather than 8, but it works fine for pasta and rice dishes.

We bought two sets of these and they get a ton of use at home. We love them as much as our fancier and more expensive dinner plates from Crate & Barrel. There will be color tone variations, but that was to be expected. However if you want perfectly uniform blue hues than don’t buy these.

These bowls are nice and wide. No more having to spoon deep i the bowl ad coming up with a less then full spoon. I use them as plates as well.
