I tested this combo with a 40A esc on 3s and it flew itself loose from the receiver. Ha ha. I connected this and an esc to a disconnect receiver, still installed inside over one my rc cars and the jet kicked on because I forgot the power button want connected you the esc, and if wasn't for my cat-like reflexes, it would flown away. Ha ha.Yes the combo is very powerful and runs well.

I picked this edf to put in my scratch build delta wing. I have a couple of EDFs, a 64mm and a 70mm. I was expecting this to be under powered, but I was wrong. You can see in the video and basically blows everything off my desk at about 50% throttle on 4S.Some Pros and ConsPROS-Has plenty of power on 4s-It’s almost silent on my scratch built delta wing (no thrust tube)-Good quality silicone wire-12 blade-blade seemed balanced when it arrivedCONS-Draws a lot of amps and warms the battery-Silent (if you were expecting a jet sound)OVERALLI’m still giving this thing 5 stars, the cons are really cons, just things you need to be aware of. EDFs are not really efficient and draw a lot higher amps compared to prop motors. For my particular need, I go with a bigger battery and 3S.
