I was skeptical at first but for my mental health I need to keep my phone out of the bedroom which meant I needed an alarm clock but I haven’t had one in at least 10 years. I did a lot of research and was very intrigued by a fancy alarm clock that shall not be named but I couldn’t justify $170 and a subscription just to use it. I chose this one over the others because the fabric covering the digital time screen helps eliminate the blue light effects that others have and I liked that it is dimmable. I also found this one to be very cute as some of the other sunrise clocks I think are really ugly. This clock is easy to use, I love all the settings, it’s loud but gentle. I find that I tend to wake up before the alarm goes off because of how bright it is, which is fantastic since I no longer jolt awake. The snooze button will turn the light back on as well as the sound which is fantastic. The price is absolutely worth it for what you get even though it can seem hard since you can get cheapo clocks for $15, but your sleep and mental health is worth it, I promise.

I have absolutely loved this alarm clock. There are multiple color options, various alarm sounds and noise machine sounds, and the sunrise option is very helpful in the morning to adjust my eyes.The only downside is that after a few snoozes, the alarm turns off completely. It will not activate again and if you fall back asleep after that amount of snoozes, you won’t wake back up. I’ve overslept numerous times because of this feature (one being right now as I write this review). Online it says that this is a feature designed to help you not oversleep, which I’m confused by as all it’s done is make me oversleep. I’ve never been the type to do this because eventually I WILL wake up, but the alarm completely turns off! I intentionally set my alarms early so I can snooze it a few times, it tricks me into thinking I got quality extra time to sleep when really it’s just 15-30 minutes. I’m not sure if I can fix this or adjust it, but I haven’t been able to figure it out so far. Other than this one frustrating feature, this clock is great.

I am very pleased with this alarm. I love the slow sunrise in the morning, although I set it to 5 minutes because I felt that was plenty of time to wake up. The sounds are very soothing - like a serene spa.

EDIT: The customer service team was so wonderful! They responded quickly when I explained what was going on and sent me a new product. High quality, it looks great, and the light has been a game-changer for my mornings. I'm not a morning person, and the light and bird sound make my mornings more enjoyable and less abrupt. The light is plenty bright for me but I do think the design makes it less bright than some of the sunrise alarms with more surface area, but I like the look of this one so much, and as I said, feel it wakes me up just fine.Original Review:I really love the sound quality and look of this product. Unfortunately the timer for the light doesn't work which is the main reason I bought it. Instead of getting brighter over a set amount of minutes, it gets brighter over seconds.

Where do I begin. I love my new clock. The directions were simple for set up. The quality and value for the price seem very good to me. I really enjoy the calming sound and the alarm is so cool - I love it. I think it will be next to my bed for a long time - seems very good quality. I think the features are perfect and it does exactly what I was looking for in replacing our ancient alarm clock.

So form-wise it's 5 stars. I think it's a great shape. I love the linen-like fabric, very cool look. The "white" clock has a white cord but the clock is more cream, which I like. Function-wise it checks nearly every box. The display brightness is adjustable all the way down to off. There are different alarm sound options. The alarm brightness is also adjustable. In fact, even the time frame for how early the light comes on before the alarm is adjustable, so you can set it to start just 5 mins before the alarm which is a nice feature. It's easy to use and there's a back button if you go too far while setting the time (that's standard today but I remember days when you'd have to go all the way around again!) Two significant down sides-- the back up battery does keep the time and settings in place, but the alarm won't actually go off if you've lost power at that particular time. Hummm, the description made it seem like the battery back up was to still have the alarm go off. Major bummer I'd say. Also, when you snooze, the light goes off too. That kind of defeats the purpose of the light slowly waking you up if you can opt to turn if off for 9mins while in a sleepy state. I had a hard time finding anything that checked all the boxes for me, so I'll go with it, but I do wish it had those last two features. Overall it's a great clock and we'll designed.

This alarm clock has made waking up so much easier. I love the variety of sounds, the ability to change brightness, and the length of time the light is on. Overall I would say it's a good value and works as described!

Worked for about a month then became glitchy and inconsistent. I liked the idea of a more “retro” clock that could be set to do the sunrise feature with sound. Abut two months in it won’t do the sound unless it’s after the first snooze. Even that is inconsistent. What’s the point of an alarm that doesn’t alarm? The light setting also isn’t a smooth build up to brightness. Rather it just turns on full blast. But at least it turns on. I’m back to my cellphone alarm. Save yourself the money and go for something better.
