Super Engineer II watch band for SEIKO Sumo SBDC001 SBDC003 SBDC031 SBDC033, Brushed

If you have a Seiko Sumo and love it chances are you are a bit less enamoured by the standard strap, while it's ok you might feel your classic dive watch deserves something a bit more bespoke, enter the Super engineer II.It's really well made, looks great and is a perfect fit for the Sumo, better than the original strap in that it fits snug in the lugs and is flush with the watch case. It is better quality and more robust, at least in looks, than the original, although please note that this doesn't have a dive extension piece like the standard Seiko offering.Other plus points for me are the screw-links, much better and less fiddly than the friction-fit collar pins in the original which I had problems with when adjusting the strap to fit. The Super Engineer II has solid end links and it's a heavy strap - that might put some people off but it's not an issue for me. The strap gives more of a 'dress-diver' look to the watch although it would be perfectly ok in the water, don't forget there's no dive extension - but it's easy to take it off the watch - a nice thing about the Sumo - and fit, say a Nato strap.This is a first class watch band but that comes at a price, is it worth it? I think so. This strap will last a lifetime so over a leather strap that makes sense right there. The Seiko Sumo is a classic dive watch and this strap is the icing on the cake. Recommended.

I have a few Super Engineers adorning some of my watches...They always add a certain touch of class...Bought this one for my Sumo Blumo...Fitted absolutely perfectly, and I,m extremely happy with the strap, and the seller.....If you own a Seiko Sumo, and you find the supplied strap a little on the "cheap" side, buy it one of these....You will transform your beloved watch to something rather special...Highly recommended.

Bought to replace the strap of my Seiko Sumo. Really high quality strap. Pricey but when you examine it, you understand why. It's heavy but is far better than the OEM strap on the watch.

This strap is awesome. My seiko sumo now has a strap that it deserves. It fits the case better than the seiko strap and doesn't rattle like the seiko strap. Seiko can learn alot from these guys. It's robust and absolutely awesome.
