This filter and funnel is great. I bought a deep frying appliance and wanted to be able to reuse the oil. The mesh filter washes up great as does the funnel. The only thing I'm confused about is the sticky hooks. I don't know what they are for. There are holes in the plastic frame around the edge of the filter so maybe they are to be placed on the funnel to hold the mesh piece in place? The filter stays in place without them pretty well so I don't know. If anyone has any ideas I'd like to hear them. But overall the filter is great for cleaning gently used oil.

Easy to clean with hot water. Works great to remove bits from bacon grease and to filter cooking oil for multiple uses.

The funnel and filter work great to separate coating bits out of oil keeping it clean to reuse. Now I can reuse oil several times saving money. The filter sits down in the funnel and the oil passes through while holding the bits. I set the filter in a large mouth mason jar and let it drain. My picture is of filtered oil that was used several times and full of bits.

Got this to filter used oil back into the bottle for later use, and it works perfectly! Easy to clean, and great material.
