I bought this after losing the charger for my Canon PowerShot. It seemed at first to work in that the light goes from orange to green after a while as if the battery has charged, and it looks like the original charger did apart from having a weirdly small plug. But when starting to use the camera it turns out the battery's only charged enough to take one or two photos before shutting down saying the battery has run out. I left it charging overnight and tried to video an occasion but the camera shut down after a few seconds due to dead battery. I've now found my original charger and that charges the battery up fine as it used to. The description states this charger works for my specific camera battery. This charger is useless and £17 wasted. (Edit - strange how all the 5-star reviews on this aren't readable. There were 9 5-star reviews that didn't show up to be read when I got it, months later still the same, and then a few days after I left this review there are suddenly 12 5-star reviews including one you can read counteracting mine. Hmm.
