Does the job very well.
This grabber has been handy for my after-surgery needs. Makes picking up things easy, even slips of paper. The grabber is a bit long which makes it a bit awkward. Not sure how to shorten it, but, as I said; does the job. :)

Light Duty but work well
The product is as described by the manufacturer, for light duty litter picking or reaching. The pincers come together to touch each other, so picking up a single sheet of paper works. I use them for picking up leaves and litter and am satisfied with their performance. Wet leaves on a wooden deck are very hard to remove - brooms barely work as the wet leaf surface really binds to the wood, for example. This gadget succeeds in picking them up. Also, the pincers open quite wide, so large lightweight items can be grasped.I cannot yet speak to their longevity, but they have worked well for a few weeks. It will all depend on how robust the cable, trigger mechanism is.

It's actually decent!
I'll be honest, I was very sceptical of the quality. It felt cheap and light. I was sure it would break within the first week. However, the fact it is so light is a bonus, my hand doesn't get sore using it for extended periods compared to others ive used that were heavier. I use this daily many times a day because I have a bad back and knees and can't bend over or squat too many times without severe pain. I haven't changed the angle of the pinchers much or folded it up so can't really comment on that function other than it works and is nice to have those options. The magnet was a bit of a learning curve and at first I thought it was useless, you have to close the pitchers to use the magnet which is good and bad. Slightly annoying how it works like that but also makes it so you aren't picking something up with the magnet unless you WANT to. The magnet seems strong and very functional. Unlike other grabbers I've used where the magnet is on the bottom part of the grabber and was grabbing magnetic things i wasnt trying to pick up. It seems that the way the hand part where you squeeze it is designed will prevent the breakage ive experienced with other types of grabbers. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and plan to but a few more to keep around the house, one in laundry room to reach into the washer and dryer, 1 for my vehicle and I will recommend it to others. It seems to be of good quality and designed to last.

Not good for weak hands
I've been in a wheelchair now for two years. Pick up sticks are great by not easy to carry around cause too long. The folding stick seemed like the perfect solution. Just fold and slide it between side of chair and your leg without it sticking out and getting in the way. The hard part is using it unfolding and snapping it into locked position is simple enough buy you need strong hands to work it. My hands are barely usable for simple things and the pressure you need to squeeze the handle is too much. I usually need to use both hands to grab and hang onto something, so I usually have to put the item on a something where I can reach it instead of getting with my other hand. Sorry if that didn't make sense. It sounded better in my head lol it's not a bad oroduct the idea is awesome. Just one of the little things that can frustrate someone whose life has turned into mostly frustrating little situations

Not just for the Elderly, I have a need to put a folding grabber reacher in my backpack when needed.
It folds up neatly and easy to pull out of my backpack. I can use it whenever or wherever I need to. I have to use a reacher to pick up everything off the floor that drops their or needs me to put something light down.I like that the weight of it is not an ssue to carry, and I also feel more comfortable having it at a moments notice. I am sure that if you are old or young, and you need a little help....this tool is for you too!
