Very happy with this monitor. HDR looks very good indeed and the screen is able to get very bright making HDR content really pop. As it’s a VA panel the blanks are inky blank too compared to the washed out blacks you’ll see on an LCD panel. Monitors far more expensive than this don’t have HDR or have a poor HDR implementation, so if you’re looking for a great value good performer that renders HDR content incredibly well, you can’t really go wrong here. Reading reviews about VA panels online, I was worried about the smearing effect but honestly, if you need a high performance camera to try and spot it, for any normal human eyes, you’re not going to notice it. I certainly have had no issues gaming on this and the high refresh rate will keep the pixel peeping idiots that need absolute perfection fairly happy I’m sure. Can’t comment on the speakers as I use separate speakers for my PC but I’d assume they’re fairly mediocre like most built in monitor speakers. I use a £30 Creative speaker setup which is more than enough for my needs. Also, the OSD when setting it up at first is a bit slow and fiddly but once it’s setup you don’t need to touch it again, so no big dramas there. Overall, an amazing monitor and for a price that can’t really be beaten given the HDR capabilities, nice resolution and inky blacks from the VA panel. As I say, for any normal human eyes I think you’ll be very pleased. Other reviewers seem to agree here as well it seems. **UPDATE** This monitor does not have any built in speakers. As metioned in my review, not a problem as I use a set of external speakers, and built in speakers would probably sound pretty poor anyway, but thought I'd update my review to highlight their absence on this monitor. Still a great screen though, and everything I mention above still stands. Recommended.

Antes de empezar con la critica, me gustaría poner en contexto que el target de monitor que buscaba era un monitor con alta tasa de refresco, 27-32pulgadas, con la mejor calidad de imagen posible, y adentrarme en un HDR decente. Teniendo esto en cuenta y sin restringirme a ningún tipo de panel, he probado todo tipo, IPS, Va, TN, y OLED no he llegado a probarlos simplemente porque creo que la tecnología anti burn-in todavía está en pañales para pantallas orientadas a escritorio, si nos guiamos por los test RTINGS. Dicho esto último mi siguiente adquisición si no me hubiera convencido este AOC hubiera sido un OLED probablemente de LG. He pasado por LG GQ850(ips), Samsung Odyssey Neo G7(va), Dell G3223q(ips), Corsair Xeneon 32UHD144(ips), o Philips Evnia 27M1F5500P(ips). Ninguno de estos me ha convencido, desde el más barato (Philips unos 360 Euros) hasta el más caro (Corsair 950Euros) Todos tenían algún pixel muerto, fugas de luz, IPS bleeding acusados. Quizá el más correcto fue el Dell, pero no acorde con su rango de precio. Creo sinceramente que si te vas a gastar más de 500 euros en monitor, sale a cuenta arriesgarse con un OLED si como a mí te parece inadmisible que en este rango de precio te lleguen estos defectos de fábrica, algunos asociados directamente al tipo de panel. Es decir, si o si te van a llegar con esos defectos. (por ejemplo IPS con las fugas de luz, o el bleeding) Empiezo con la reseña del AOC, lo bueno: Logré comprarlo a 350 Euros, con bastante suerte porque se agotó en apenas 3 días. Muy buena calidad/precio. De primeras, la calidad de construcción parece bastante correcta, y sorprende que aun siendo orientado hacia el gaming, no tiene ningún tipo de LED que retroilumine, salvo el del botón de encendido. 180hz para gaming, más que suficiente en mi caso. Utilizo una RTX 4070ti, y es completamente compatible sea Nvidia o AMD. Un IPS o un OLED, darían bastante mejor resultado aquí pero en mi caso no juego competitivo, y prefiero aprovecharlo más en single player, series, peliculas o diseño gráfico. No hay fugas de luz, el negro sin llegar a ser puro como el de los OLED, es negro, y no gris como el de los IPS. El contraste es fantástico. Lo único que puede llegar a despistarte un poco es el blooming en efectos brillantes. Pero si esto te molesta demasiado solo tienes que pivotar con el Local dimming entre Medium-High, pues los negros siguen siendo igual de buenos, lo que más varía es el blooming. Otra de las cosas que me sorprendió mucho fue su HDR, pues quería explotar esta característica. LLega a 1000 nits de brillo en su peak. Nada más que decir, muchos OLED no llegan a esta cifra, y mucho menos los IPS. Por cierto reescala la señal 4k, con lo cual aunque no reproduce un 4k nativo, reproduce un 2k de más calidad que el nativo. Para series, peliculas, consolas, Youtube, Netflix... Me parece un lujo. Posiblemente es no sólo la alternativa barata a un OLED, sino la calidad de imagen más parecida en otro tipo de panel a estos, por negros, contrastes, brillo... Lo malo: Como hándicap tengo que señalar obligatoriamente que no tiene hdmi 2.1, es 2.0. Y por tanto su Adaptative Sync funciona sólo por Display Port (1.4). A algunos les puede parecer poco QHD(1440p), y quizá buscan UHD(4k) pero por mi experiencia estoy contento con QHD en 27 pulgadas, y recomiendo 32 pulgadas mínimo para disfrutar del 4k en escritorio. Si tienes gráfica que lo aguante y buscas más de 200 fps (normalmente gaming competitivo), este monitor no es lo tuyo. Su tope son 180hz con overclock. En mi caso suelo usarlo entre 120-165hz, y estoy encantado. Para terminar, me llama mucho la atención que, de todos los monitores que he ido probando, curiosamente el más barato ha sido el que ha cumplido las expectativas. Muy contento con la adquisición

Arrived quickly, with no excess packaging that I would need to get rid of. Appears to not have any dead pixels or any other issues. Is far brighter than my previous monitor so will need to get used to that or turn it down to lower hehe.
