I am a reptile "collector", but only on a small scale. I would imagine that at any given time I may have four or five snakes, and I currently have two Pygmy rattlesnakes. I'm housing them together, but that makes it a bit aggravating for feeding, so I needed a few more small (10 gallon) aquariums (I actually need one right now, but also want extras for replacements should such be required as well as I will surely at some points in the future need to house more reptiles). I've watched them for some time on Amazon, and the price is generally much more than what the item would be at a big box store: Amazon's would run anywhere from $45 up to $60 for this small aquarium. Now, the fix for most people for such an issue would be to hit WalMart, PetSmart, PetCo or the like, but I very seldom go to stores at all given where I live (in a parish ("county" to most) that literally doesn't have one single, solitary full red-green-yellow traffic light, so you can imagine my limitations for convenient in person purchasing, especially given that I'm an Amazon Prime customer).Having seen these aquariums reasonably priced in the past, I kept watching them from time to time, and when I saw that they had dropped from about $50 to about $14, I IMMEDIATELY pulled the trigger on the maximum I was allowed to purchase - four, this despite the fact that I only need one right now. I tried to create another order and get four more right then, to no avail, as they were back up to about $50. Having received the items, I am sure glad that I did. It's noteworthy to mention that after they arrived, I noted an immediate ability to purchase more at about $14, but that small bit of separation allowed me see that four is enough for now, especially with my newfound confidence that I can likely get more in the future at this price point from time to time. All four of these arrived quite quickly and on the same day, and were very well packed in multiple layers. The aquarium/vivariums are in manufacturer packaged boxes a few inches larger for each dimension of the aquarium than the three dimensions of the actual aquarium itself, allowing robust, cube shaped "shock absorbers" of highly flexible material similar to foam to be fitted by the manufacturer and that fit quite snugly to all eight corners of each aquarium - four on top and four on bottom - after which the aquarium with all eight "shock absorbing corners" are then slid into a snug fit within the manufacturer's box. In doing so, it's as if the aquarium is suspended within the box, and not touching any part of it by at least three inches - only the shock absorbers touch the manufacturer's box and the actual item itself, and when they are fit and taped shut by the manufacturer, each aquarium is suspended in such a manner as to allow at least that three inches of clearance between the box and the actual aquarium, assuring that if the boxed aquarium was hit with something, it would have to literally crush the box inward a good three inches to even touch the glass at all. Thereafter, this manufacturer's sealed box is placed within another box roughly the same amount larger than the manufacturer's box, and standard packing materials set it as likewise similarly suspended within the larger box, at which point you would have to strike the outer box with enough force to crush it a good three inches to make it even touch the inner manufacturer's packed box. Then, enough extra force would have had to be applied to crush the outer box hard enough to hit the inner box and have enough momentum to crush that into the inner box hard enough to crush both packages another three inches to touch the aquarium, and enough MORE than that to damage it. It's very, VERY well packaged, and the packing is stout, robust material. I honestly remain very much impressed and pleased with the redundant packing and packaging, the strength of all of the packing materials, the pricing of this product (when watched for deals), and finally, to the quality of the actual item itself. To say I am very, VERY pleased all around is quite the understatement! The product is strong, well made and well built, soundly put together to make a leak almost unimaginable, and it fits standardized sizes of the bulk of 12 gallon aquariums, allowing lockable access screens to be fitted to top and locked, especially for venomous species. The quality and worksmanship are also plusses when considering any need to house hot reptiles (venomous reptiles). If you watch for deals, you can get them, so shop ahead and don't get in a bind when you need a tank. have the tank at your house when you need it. This goes over manifold for Amazon Prime customers! The product is well standardized in size for aftermarket accessories, well built from good, robust materials, extremely well packaged (given it's potential relative fragility), extremely well priced at times (so watch for such times!), and quite conveniently deliverable to your door (and returnable to Amazon under their normal policy in the same consistent manner and price (nearly always on their dime). And of course, if it's DOA it's on Amazon's dime, too.I would've ordered more if I had been allowed to right off for that price, but that short "cooling off" period made me realize I was good for now. Had I ordered 4 more, I would be quite fine with it and would've gladly kept them, but I of course am glad that I don't need to store them in the event I need more later. If I ever see such a potential need coming over the horizon, I'll simply start checking in on pricing again from time to time. I will say, however, that it was actually the high regard I have for the item, the packaging and packing materials, the price, the quality, etc., etc., that caused me to want more RIGHT AT THE POINT that I received them.If you get thee at the same price I did or even several bucks more, I cannot even remotely imagine that you will not be quite pleased. Most people have no issue with conveniently hitting a big box store, and even then, this easily matches them. It may not surpass them, but it clearly meets them!I see no way to go wrong here with these items! I realize that I tend to ramble, and I'm not the most articulate by far when I try to explain things, so don't let any deficiencies or lack of clarity in my review sully the reputation of the item. Weaknesses in the review are solely mine and they reflect on ME, NOT on the item in any way, shape, or form, including grammar, punctuation, and actual wording.

Bought this and it was my first of five tanks
It’s perfect. Good size for my community tank. My frog cheered up when I moved him and my female betta into here with my tetras. I added a different frog and they both explore so much. Plenty of room for my tetras but my black neons have behavior issues in here (my fault completely they need a bigger tank I’m working on it) my male betta had to be moved out of this tank due to him finding it overwhelming. No other problems. Tetras had fin nipping issues but a decor rearrange worked. Super easy to clean. Easy to manage. Durable!

The fish tank is quite nice
The fish tank is quite nice. The size is enought for small fish. The glass is not too thin, allowing a clear view of the fish inside. It arrived undamaged. However, the glue on the glass is not applied very evenly. On close inspection, I found some spots where the glue layer is very thin. It might not leak in the short term, but it probably will over time. So, I added some extra glue. I recommend testing for leaks in the bathtub before adding water and fish.

Well made
10 gallon tank. It was my gateway tank to 50 gallons. I still use it 4 quarantined plants. It was an excellent price. The packing was phenomenal. Shipped well n received in perfect condition. Perfect size 4 a terrarium. 😏

Great
I’ve had the tank for about a year now. It was a great price and good quality. I use it as a fish tank and I’ve had no water leaking. It’s gone through three moves as well and didn’t crack. I would recommend!

Happy Fish.
For the price this was an amazing buy I needed it for my shark tank because I have albino rainbow sharks and I had red tail shorts in one tank and that was not a very happy living situation for them so the new tank was bought for the red-tailed charts are enjoying it now and the rainbow sharks have their own tank which they're enjoying so it's a win-win for the fish and me

Its a really nice tank for the price.
I have been looking to downgrade my kids tank to a smaller one. The one we have is currently 20 gallons and we only have 2 fish. I couldn't believe the price on this thing, but I took a chance anyways because of the reviews. I'm so glad I did, other tanks similar to this cost wayyyyyy more. I'm so happy with this purchase. Just get it.
