I have used minoxidil for years...per dermatologist recommendation when I had weird hair loss in my 40s.I am 70 yr old female and my hair is better than when I was 20. I use to use other generic of this but Kirkland is least expensive .I use mens 5 % every night. I use about 3 applications of 3 ml each time. I NEVER skip a day.

I have used this for over 25 years. I worked for a drug company so I am really skeptical about this type of thing. I started going bald at about 40. I started using this stuff when it cost an outrageous amount of moneyI use it ONLY once a day (at night) and put a pretty healthy wet coating on my area of concern. I use a repurposed pump spray to apply it to my scalp. It is sprayed almost to the point that it starts forming a drip...sometimes resulting in a drip.Damn stuff works. My balding (and I'm now 75 years old) is still pretty good. Interestingly, I had to go to the hospital for like 3 weeks and didn't use a drop of this. My hair definitely started thinning. I know you will immediately think ... the guy is dying and is losing his hair because he is sick as heck. Well...I don't think so. The stuff works...(importantly) for me. My son in law tried it for a couple of years but he didn't think it worked. I will use it till the day I die ... or until I am incapacitated. The darn stuff works for me ... that is my belief for something that seems like "snake oil". Remember I significantly started losing my hair at 40 and it significantly slowed up...stalled...my hair loss. BTW - it did not IMPROVE my scalp. I know it worked for me. BTW (again) there is nothing special about this brand ... I always buy the cheapest. Remember to fill a fine pump sprayer because it distributes the liquid kind of evenly. I use the stuff before I go to bed. It really makes your hair looks kind of oily. Good luck ... balding really stinks.
