This is my second Throttle X battery hope it last as long as my first one. Great battery. Only problem I had was Amazon shipped it upside down. Fortunately it did not leak ! Guess the shipping person doesn't know up from down !

Item works, but can not get the device to register 100% or 0% percent. Only this it is able to actually do is show power consumption, but I purchased it so I'd know based on percentage the battery level. I'd look elsewhere for a battery shunt.

I just did a test run on the bench before committing to hard mounting this battery monitor in my van. It works very well once set up, but could use a couple of improvements to make it easier for the user. First, the digits that are being edited become highlighted in a blue color, making the digits almost impossible to see. When I was setting the Ah for example, I had to guess how close I was, press OK to get a normal display so I could see the number, go back to Edit and repeat until I got the correct number. Flashing the number instead of highlighting it would work much better. Second, there is no numerical reading for remaining Ah. This may be fine for less discerning users, but personally I like to see how many Ah an activity used, such as running a particular appliance. I have another battery monitor that does all of the above correctly, in a smaller size and it costs 40% less. One great thing that both monitors do (and this is critical for camper applications) is that it measures charge bidirectionally- it keeps track of charge going in when charging, and charge going out when discharging. My recommendation is to shop around for the the right mix of performance, features and price. Just make sure you get one that is shunt-based (not one that just measures voltage- not a good choice for Lithium-ion systems), and that it measures charge going in both directions.

Charge monitor works well and has been accurate for while now..had it a few months now and it works night and day shows when it’s charging and shows actual battery charge..didn’t know I needed this so much glad I got it

Works well and I can read it anytime and angle. I have a Renogy model RBL 500 and its hard to read, works well but not user friendly. This is bright and easy to use in my Camper trailer. Works well.
