A Firm Believer in OEM Products - Friends Don't Let Friends Buy Non-OEM Products
Friends don't let friends buy non-OEM products - for no other reason, OEM products are far superior, and manufactured and designed by the people who invented or made the product. They don't just want to charge more for the sake of making money, it costs more to make OEM products. We have to chew those nails and swallow them. Still with me?Anti-Freeze, as simple as it appears, is not quite as simple as we think (neither is motor oil). Automotive engines rely on the communication between the vehicles computer system that control everything. Here, an engine is designed to operate within a given temperature range. The chemical that helps keep the engine from overheating is a Glycol chemical blend. The engines cooling system must be absolutely air-tight - otherwise it will not maintain sufficient pressure to prevent the coolant from overheating and boiling. Mopar's anti-freeze is designed for Dodge Truck engines operating - most importantly between the temperature above 1/2 and 3/4. That is when you are hauling 10,000 lbs. behind you, uphill in both directions and the outside temperature is 100 F and there is no head-wind blowing much needed additional air into your engine compartment. Mopar's anti-freeze blend is critically designed to resist boiling under brutal conditions. You make the choice, what brand anti-freeze to you want in your cooling system? Mopar or Prestone? Last time I checked, new Dodge engines cost about $7,000 plus tax.

Shipping
Exactly what I needed. I bought 6 gallons for my Diesel, could not believe that Amazon packaged 5 in a flimsy box with yards of packaging tape that was very heavy causing a muscle in my back to go out.The 6th gallon was in a better box by itself. Nextime use some intelligence and split the load evenly, its called common sense ! Not to mention the poor delivery guy who had to schlep it from the van to my door.Other then that bohner, Price was great and shipping fast.
