Easy to use. This a necessary tool to have when cooking with a Blackstone Griddle. There's no way to tell the temperature of the cooking surface unless you have an infrared thermometer. So easy to have surface too hot or not hot enough. This product works great, is good value for the money, appears to be very well made and durable. Easy to set up, learn how to use, and proficient right away. I look forward to using for many applications. Highly recommend. The temperature probe also works well and is well made. My only concern with the probe is the potential for accident or injury with a sharp point highly exposed.

I've always wanted an IR gun and sifted through so many reviews, then chose this combo. I'm quite pleased with the accuracy and performance of both the gun and the probe. I've tested for accuracy by cross referencing other thermal devices and known constants such as the temperature of boiling water adjusted for altitude. Both devices are quite accurate and reliable.

I have not used the temperature probe yet so no comment there. I have made good use of the thermal gun and it works quite well. Display is easily readable and the shape makes it easy to hold and aim where you want. This is not a 5 star review because it doesn't seem to be very well put together. The seams are pretty wide apart and I can easily see water getting in and causing damage. So, bottom line, if you are using it indoors where its dry I doubt that you will have a problem but outdoor use is, IMO, problamatic.

This is an excellent tool for taking fairly accurate temps. I mostly use it to get target temperature on my griddle when cooking english muffins. Also use it for checking tire temperature on RV.

This infrared thermometer has been a game changer for my griddle cooking! It is incredibly fast and accurate which allows me to instantly check surface temperature of my griddle for perfect searing and even cooking. Also, great that I can check the internal temperature of my meats with the second thermometer.

Perfect for immediate surface temp checks on engines, manifolds, water, and particularly my smoker and BBQ grates, in order to find the hot and cold spots. The meat thermometer works great too.

I ordered these to check our oven temperature. As I suspected, the oven was not getting to the temperature it displayed. Next, I used it to check the temperature on the head of my outboard motor. The instant temperature meat probe works great when smoking meats. They are easy to use, accurate, and handy to have around.

Perfect, we use this for testing the pizza oven temperature. Seems accurate
