Strong, creamy, long aftertaste, perfect on cheese board. Another product from Snowdonia that i had bought for christmas but it was opened mid december. Leave to get to room temp. before you taste and you will not be dissappointed. If you like strong cheddar with a fabulous bite then this is the one.

Amazing taste
This is my all time favourite cheese. It tastes incredible, and it’s reasonably priced. It arrived with a long expiration date, and was sent 24 hour tracked via Royal Mail. If I’m buying cheese, I only ever buy from this retailer.

Very tasty cheese
This cheese is very tasty, it kind of melts slowly on your tongue, giving it a slightly grainy texture. Very pleasant experience. The wax surrounding the cheese is quite thick and a thick bladed knife is needed to cut it open, a thin one might break.At the price, which includes postage it is expensive, BUT, it is an artisan cheese. Would I buy it again?No I don't think so, but only because of the price. It would possibly make a nice birthday or other type of present. But bear in mind it is small, coming in at only 200g. Hence 4 star rating, I nearly only put 3 stars but the taste alone improved the rating.

Really delicious a big favourite with me as it has all the strong rich flavour of a good mature cheddar but with a creamy texture. Not widely available so if you're not in the vicinity of a good cheese monger well worth ordering on here.I'm also very fond of the one flavoured with port.

This is not charcoal cheddar
Nice white cheddar.. thought I was ordering charcoal cheddar, so disappointed, but a good creamy taste
