They seem to be of good quality and each shipment I've received (3) has been packed better than the one before, but you still need to straighten the louvers because they got pushed down in the shipping process.They come with 2 holes for mounting, I prefer more so I had to drill two additional holes--be nice if they came with 4 ?

I bought this for the inside end of a ventilation fan duct for my workshop. I can basically place the suction where I need it to prevent solvent fumes or smoke from getting into the rest of the basement. Metal is a little sharp, but its sturdy and serves its purpose. There is an internal screen that both prevents objects from being pulled up int the duct and would also act as a last barrier in case a mouse or other pest finds its way into the duck from outside.

I bought this for our bathroom remodel as we have a weird vent hole in the floor that used to duct through the old vanity. This thing fit in the round duct we have and looks great. It's actually metal and shouldn't rust or anything as long as its not exposed directly to water. Install was easy but I dont think it came with any screws if you're looking to mount it on the ceiling. Maybe i'm wrong on that because i didnt need them anyhow.

used these to vent a horizontal resin shed. used a 4" hole saw and they were a bit loose, so if you have a metric hole saw, it might be better to use a slightly smaller size. They barely poked through the side wall to the interior so this was ideal. the only issue i had with them was that the louvers are a bit flimsy and dont keep out much of the weather since they do not overlap much. work well as a ventilation outlet, appear to be made very well, decent value for a set, but i would honestly purchase the ones with a half moon cover instead of these open side ones.
