In the immortal words of TikTok influencers everywhere 'I am shook!!'... By design the product is a little bulky, maybe not ideal for the less dexterous, but it maneuvers well and the cord is long enough not to need a massive extension lead, but no so long you can't pack it away neatly. My shoulder length hair is super thick and straight but prone to frizz and is incredibly unruly. Typically I have to blow-dry my hair for a good 10-15 minutes before straightening it for a solid 20-30 to get it to behave. With this I just sprayed in some heat defence and set it to the highest setting and was off. I sectioned my hair working from the bottom up and found it got very hot, very fast (but on the up-side it dried it quickly so no need to repeatedly blast the same area). Towards the end, I put it to a cooler setting and used my hand to sleek the hair out between the bristles on this dryer's brush. I was left with smooth, manageable hair and no frizz in just 15 minutes! My only criticism is that unlike with a manual blow-dry, my hair was a little dull and not particularly shiny afterwards, but some silicone based serum and split-end prevent cream couldn't fix. Lovely stuff! No more going to work with a bird's nest on my head. 10/10

It is so much more easier now to blow out my hair now using this. I have 4c hair and it does a great job blowing it out instead of using a blow dryer with a comb. Also the job gets done so much more quickly. It does heat up very quickly thought. I am very scared about it overheating so I do not leave it on for too long.

This hair dryer was a game changer for me, having 2 girls with extremely thick coily hair this brush has made doing their hair much easier on my hands because of the fact that it's like a normal hair brush, I've had it for a while now and it still works perfectly, leaves hair nice and soft. I just wished there was a way to take the brush plates out and wash them as sometimes the hair gets tangled in them and they get really greasy and it's a pain to clean. Other than that I always recommend this product to others. The fact that you can get semi straight hair using the higher heat is a plus, no need to dig out the straighteners.

UPDATE 19/01/23: I will not deny that this still works far better for getting silky straight hair, however I was noticing the room becoming full of smoke / steam after using it. I barely use any product in my hair post-wash, so it really should not be burning up like this. It produces temperatures high enough to burn you, and I feel there should be temperature control rather than just 'high' or 'low'. To add to this, because of the extreme heat, the teeth of the brush part can end up caked in cooked-on grime. No matter how clean your hair is, there's always natural oils etc present, and there is no good way to clean this part as it can't be removed or soaked in hot soapy water. The spaces between bristles is too narrow and awkward to get anything in there to scrape the grime off; i have tried flossing between them, using another hard bristle brush (only results in lots of dust!!), cotton buds dipped in alcohol (still too big to get between them), flossing with a sanatising wipe (too frail to loosen grime), and even scraping it with a cuticle pusher - risking damaging the product. The time spent attempting to clean it almost negates the ease of using it. PLEASE, make a version with removable teeth!!!! I was sooooo tired of holding a massive noisy hairdryer in one hand and a brush in the other, spending like a whole hour every time I wanna wear my hair straight. Other brush blow dryers were kinda expensive and seemed marketed towards women with straight hair who wanted volume. But this thing WORKS! It took me about 30 mins to blow dry my super thick waist length hair, and it was actually stretched almost straight for once. Normally I look like an electrocuted lion after I blow dry my hair, even when I chase with a comb or brush to stretch the hair. My hair looks much sleeker, smoother and is flatter at the root after running the straighteners over it. 100% worth it!!

The most powerful hot brush I have ever used in my life! It’s going to 3 years now and it’s still strong, I have used it almost everyday for months and it’s still strong and still working fine. Please buy this brush if you ever want a hot brush. I have the thickest 4C hair.

As a girl with 4C hair. This is the best purchase I made. Blow drying my hair now now takes me less than 15mins

My son has lots of very thick hair which used to take an hour+ to dry using an conventional style hair dryer. I have very small hands and this was easy for me to hold while keeping my hand away from the hot bit. The dryer has three heat settings and has literally reduced drying time by 50%, meaning I’m willing to do it more frequently. The results on his hair is much sleeker and silkier than I’m usually able to achieve using our other dryer. I would definitely recommend for Afro type hair, no silly comb attachment falling off every two seconds or burning your hand trying to put it back on. I don’t think you’ll regret getting this.

The hair dryer is excellent and has a strong temperature, but I would like to provide a hair cleaning a small teeth brush.
