This is a review of 'Snail Mucin 92% Advanced Cream, Snail Collagen Deep & Intense Hydration Cream - Daily Face Gel Moisturizer for Dry Skin, Sensitive Skin (100g).This is a face moisturiser mostly made of snail mucin. This is a dupe product of the COSRX Snail 92 cream. I have used the original cosrx product and it feels different from this one, much more gooey and snail mucin like whereas with this one it looks and feels like a cream with some snail mucin content but you can tell there are other ingredients as it isn't quite the same texture. The cream is lightly moisturising but not quite enough on its own for my dry skin. Despite this I liked sing the product and it feels nice on the skin, if you can get over the slight gooey texture. I layered this below my usual ceramide moisturiser and it seems to have boosted hydration and glowiness of my skin which is a win! I like that they are very clear on the packaging and list all of the ingredients according to regulations. The only thing I find a bit offputting is the effort put into copying the other product's packaging and exact name as it almost feels like they are trying to deceive the customer into thinking they are receiving the more famous product. Despite this, I do think this is a good product and has a lot of similar properties to the other brand's product.

Once you get past the slight gloopiness, this cream is lovely. Absorbs easily leaves skin soft and glowing.

This was too much for my wife, who has a more Mediterranean skin type; she doesn't need this much moisturising, which is what this product is very good at!She also finds it hard to get past the connection with snails; the cream does feel like snail slime.However, one of our friends loves it and can't get enough of it. She's been using a snail mucin night mask we gave her every night since then, and now she's got this for daytime too and is loving it.So, if this is your thing, it's a jolly good thing.Recommended.

Very stringy so reminds you of slime, no unpleasant smell, is quite a thin consistency which takes a little longer than usual to absorb and it quite sticky for a little bit, but skin feels pretty soft aftwards

I like this product, I use it both in the morning and evening, however it isn’t moisturising enough to use on its own in the evening, I apply thicker cream on top of it. It works nice under makeup and keeps my skin feeling moisturised during the day, the size and value for money is great. I do recommend this product.
