Works just like I needed them to work.

I bought this set because I needed a single NPT hose barb to repair a plastic radiator. The top tank had a plastic hose barb molded into it that got brittle and broke off. I found that there was enough material for me to tap it to 1/4" NPT so I could use a screw-in fitting to repair it (and not have to buy a new radiator), but I had run out of hose barbs. This kit got to me the next day and had the fitting size I needed. I spent $20 on the barb kit and perhaps another $7 on epoxy. That's a lot cheaper than the cheapest radiator that I was able to find, which was about $65 plus shipping and which would have delayed this repair by about a week. Not to mention the fact that I reused the factory radiator, which is probably of much better quality than some no-name $65 radiator that can be bought online. The repair has been working perfectly for 2 months and well over 1000 miles. I'm not sure I would trust these fittings at higher pressure (anything above about 150 PSI in my mind) but they can handle the 14 PSI of the cooling system with no problems. I'm sure they'll work fine for anything that I do with them. I didn't use the hose clamp that came in the kit because I have a stash of Ideal-brand, made in the USA clamps that I prefer to use. Not saying there's anything wrong with the ones in this kit but I just trust the Ideal ones more. YMMV. This is a very handy kit to have around for simple repairs. If you have an air line that you need to splice or you want to use rubber hose for anything, keep this on a shelf somewhere.

Haven't tried them yet but seem legit

Excellent product for hose repairs. The clamps work well, but must be tightened with a six point socket. The screwdriver slot in the clamps is too shallow.
