Marble pieces were different colors. Also not sure if item was new or a return. Does work sd expected though

This book display stand is very pretty, but I am removing one star because the two pieces of marble are very different in color and veining. They don't look like they belong together. I'm not sure it matters too much because we will have a book on it, but if I were giving this as a gift, I'd be unhappy with that. They are even two different thicknesses.The display stand came very nicely packaged. It is very sturdy and does the job. Good value for what I paid for, but would prefer two pieces that look more alike.Overall I'm satisfied with this and would recommend. It looks very good once it is displayed!

Beautiful and easy to set up. Needs to be more marble products like this on Amazon!

Nice and strong, but the cutout is about 1/2 inch too shot for it to be assembled and flush. Still works well and the book hides this flaw.
