Great solar panels for the van
I've been using two of the Renogy 100 watt flexible solar panels for about 3 years with our van. I mounted them to 1/8" plywood and deploy them whenever we're camped. They've worked great, and I've seen as high as 175 watt output in right conditions. I have a 25 foot cable, and like being able to park in the shade and put the panels in the sun as opposed to having them on the van roof. These are very durable and should last for many years.

Great solar panels for charging my 12V batteries for my LED lights in my barn.
Bough two of these flexible solar panels. I use them to charge 12 volt deep cycle batteries and power 12 volt LED lights on my barn. They work great. Plenty of power for my LED lights. I have two deep cycle batteries that normally last up to 6 days powering my 12 LED light in a large barn. My solar panels are permanently installed on a post outside of my barn at the proper angle for my area of the country. Only draw back is that they have to be cleaned periodically - lot of corn and soybeans farmers near me and the dust has to be wiped off. Also have to make sure snow is removed in the winter time.

Good panels, Works as advertised
The panels perform well seem durable and are flexible. I’m very pleased with them. They fit the bill for my application. Small amounts of shade do not seem to significantly impact the panels’ output, unlike some i’ve used. I needed low-profile flexible panels to fit on my truck’s topper, between the roof racks. The size of the panels are a perfect fit, and allow 2 to be installed on my roof. I wanted the installation to be easily removable, but to also easily handle highway speeds without me worrying about panels flying off. Utilizing the grommets on the panels allowed me to use M6 tee nuts and M6 machine screws and 1” M6 threaded plastic knobs to hold the panels in place. The grommet placement on the 2 panels I received were identical. I fit the machine screws through holes drilled in the topper. The screws (and large washers) are on the inside of the topper, with the tee nuts on the outside. The screws and nuts are snugly tightened, which allows the plastic knobs to be loosened and tightened without someone inside the topper holding a screwdriver to keep the screws from loosening. I used RTV to seal the holes, which also helps hold the screws and nuts in place without turning. I’ve used similar combos on truck toppers for 30+ years and have never had water leaks. I also attached heavy duty velcro around the edges of the panels, and attached velcro to the topper. The velcro alone holds the panels very well, but I wanted more security for highway speeds, hence the tee nuts and machine screws. I also put a “carbon fiber” looking vinyl wrap on the topper where the panels fit, for abrasion protection. Insulation can be placed under the panels to insulate the topper from the panels, which can get hot. 5 mm foam insulation is what I use.

Good panel.
Not as flexible as you’d think, the eyelit rivits aren’t very high quality and have came loose over time but the panel seems to work great. Using to charge a 35ah AGM battery for powering a tongue jack on the camper. Mounted to the gas generator cover, which is rounded. Panel bows slightly due to location but otherwise secure.

Great
These are really great panels. But based on prior purchases I wouldn’t expect more than 6 years of life glued down to the roof of an RV.

Horrible panels, worse customer support.
Ordered 3 panels for my Sprinter Camper, as per Renogy installation instructions glued then to the roof of my van. Output was low to start but I live in MN so wrote it off to less Sun. Went to California for 2 months, output has dropped even more, 3 panels in parallel in bright clear sunshine are producing less than 5 amps. Bought two cheap Harbor Freight panels, layed them on top of the Renogy panels, the cheap panels are over 10 amps with just two of them, exactly what they are rated at. Talked to tech support, rather I tried but everytime the tech was supposed to answer they hung up, called back 5 times same thing every time. I then went to email, after a couple day wait for a response they asked me to do some tests and send some pictures and video. I did as asked. Another couple day wait,, Then wanted followup video of the lights on the controller. Another wait and they sent a group of photos showing me how to do the same tests I had already done, with examples that weren't even the same panels I have. I got the distinct feeling I was being run around in the hope that I would just go away. I've been an electronics tech for 50 years, had my own shop for 45. I will never buy another Renogy product and advise everyone else not to as well. It's my own fault for ignoring the negative reviews, I hope all of you are wiser ! Update: Renogy has told me they would take the panels back, minus 10% plus I am responsible for shipping on thier defective product. I asked them how I am supposed to remove the panels THEY told me to glue on to my roof, according to Renogys installation instructions, without damaging the panels or my roof. They haven't responded yet.

I've ordered and tried a good few different solar panels now, from I've tried the top-solar, couple of chinese brands, and this was the only panel that actually got anywhere close to the quoted Watt. On a average day i got 45watts of the quote 50 watt panel. The 2 chinese brand i got about 30watts from a quoted 100watts, the top-solar was 35.

It worked great. On a sunny day I was pulling in 2.2 amps. I use this for charging my portable charger and phone and it works well! I just wish the positive cord was longer.
