Nice acrylic sheets
It cuts and etches great on my K40 laser. The sheets are thick enough that they don’t bend but not so thick that they are difficult to cut.

Versatile and sturdy, to say the least
The OMTech 10 Pack Clear Acrylic Sheets have so much potential. I understand that they're listed for laser engraving, I had other thoughts on how they could be of use.First things first though, they arrived in good time and exactly as promised. No sheets had any defects, scratches, or any sort of blemish or defect. I'm sure they would've made excellent laser engravings.I had a much more mundane task for at least some of them, a task that they performed admirably. I made "enclosures" out of them. I ordered a set of speaker stands, but unfortunately I either didn't check things out as well as I should've or didn't think through as much as I should've. Probably a bit of both. The stands came with several mounts that were designed to have the speakers mounted onto them using screws. Unfortunately my speakers didn't have screw holes, at all. So when I saw these acrylic sheets I had a "eureka" moment. This time I did did some evaluating and checking first and I thought they'd work admirably, and they did! While I won't bore you with all the intricate details, I will say that their excellent properties did both the stands and the acrylic sheets proud. They held the weight of the speakers well without any bending or buckling while also lending themselves well to being mounted on metal stands. They have also stood up well to the occasional test of having been almost tipped over but keeping the speakers safe withing their acrylic walls. They were sturdy, but flexible. Beautiful, yet functional and so very versatile. An all around excellent order, and I even have some leftover. Hmm, I wonder what a laser engraver costs?Would I order these again? Absolutely! Would I recommend them to others? Definitely.A+++++

Actual dimensions 300x200mm and 2.9-3.1mm thick
The sheets are a nice assortment of opaque colors with thin plastic protective film. There is no indication whether these are cast or extruded sheets. The dimensions are the metric equivalent of the expected 12x8” at 300x200 mm which means the panels are shorter in both dimensions than advertised. The panels are also variable by a couple mm in the 200 mm direction but overall close enough. The thickness is correct, although slightly inconsistent ranging from 2.9-3.1 mm.

Nice assorment of opaque color panels
The 10 panels came in a plastic bubble wrap bag that provided a little bit of extra protection.I measured the stack of 10 panels with a micrometer and found it to be 1.18 inches tall which works out to 0.118" thickness per panel. The advertised thickness is 3mm or 0.1 inches which is accurate (3mm = 0.118").I also measured the width and height of the panels and found them to be short at approximately 11 3/4" x 7 7/8" instead of the 12" x 8" mentioned in the ad headline. In fairness, they do have an illustration that shows the dimensions as 200mm x 300mm which is accurate. This probably isn't critical for many applications, but if you're laser cutting and want to know how many pieces you can get out of one sheet, that difference can matter. There is a nice assortment of 10 opaque colors, that will be good to have on hand to be ready for various projects. All are well protected with a transparent film on each side which I prefer to a paper coating because you can easily see the color of the panel.

Good Opaque Acrylic Sheets, Good Pricing, good selection
I ordered this to see what the quality on these would be, and was pleasantly surprised. I have an Omtech 60W CO2 laser, and have not used their acrylic as of yet. I saw this multipack and ordered it because it has a wide selection of colors, and the price was reasonable. The quality of the materials is very good and consistent. The engraving and cut tests that I performed gave good results, and I will not hesitate to purchase from them again.

Vivid color, pristine surfaces, most colors can be cut (carefully) with a diode laser
I've been having some fun expanding my diode laser experimentation into acrylic materials, While I've used black acrylic in the past, this was a fun set of thin-stock panels to experiment with different colors. So far, I've had good luck with most of the colors. The panels are not quite opaque, so some light does diffuse through, but they absorb enough to cut cleanly. I've had the most luck with 3-5 passes at about 150-200mm/m on a 10W laser. That seemed to avoid remelting better than a single slow pass.I did find that the sheets cut considerably better with the clear protective film removed from the top layer - I think it's clear enough to disperse the beam without melting, resulting in about a 50% reduction in cutting efficiency.Anyhow, I'm very happy with this acrylic, and am looking forward to getting my crafty on!

Great stuff
Plexi is the same as cast acrylic for anyone wondering. Dark, solid colors work great on a diode laser cutter/engraver, while anything translucent will have to be done with a CO2 laser, or other method. Overall, good acrylic, consistent colors and thickness.

Acrylic sheets
I got these for my BIL, who is always working on projects. Here is what he had to say:Got these for my laser engraver. The engraver, a C02 model, died before I could use them. I purchased a new laser engraver, an LED model. I did not know until I tried that the process of cutting and engraving acrylic with an LED is different from a C02 machine. A C02 will engrave and cut clear acrylic just fine. The LED does NOT. To engrave, the clear acrylic has to have a coat of tempura paint or other substance to stop the light, and cause it to burn. The LED light is a “blue” light, and just goes through the acrylic. You need some coating to make it stop and engrave. Cutting is impossible. If you have a C02 laser, this stuff is great! Cuts and engraves wonderfully. Be careful to test the power and speed settings with some scrap. Acrylic can crack along the edges if the combination is not just right. IF you own an LED laser, it’s not going to work so well. Some work around is needed.
