My Everbearing Bareroots arrived as expected. But to see them leafing out after only 4 days is truly amazing! 15/15 have green leaves bursting from the crown. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality. This is my 2nd order (also bought June bearing) from Hand Picked Nursery this month. I can't say enough how pleased I am with their quality! Recommend? ABSOLUTELY!!!!

Plants Arrived in good shape , all survived after I planted them

We had the same experience as 15% of buyers purchasing these, from Aug. 2024-Feb.2025. The planting instructions were followed meticulously. They did great at first; leafed out well and started bearing flowers. Then a few started to wilt and die. We bought 2 plants locally, of the same type, to try and replace the first few and they are still doing great! All of the plants from this seller died. Seller said they were planted too deep, but the other 2 plants, purchased locally, were planted even deeper and they are flourishing. I feel something is wrong with this root stock. Seller didnt offer any refund/replacement.

High quality, healthy strawberry plant, bare root starters. I purchased 50 of these starts and they arrived in two days, alive and in very healthy shape. In ten days, my plants grew from bare roots to three inches tall and all are thriving! I appreciate supporting small family run businesses such as this one. The pricing is excellent too, especially compared to big box stores. My local big box store is selling strawberry plants at $6 per each plant! I highly recommend this small business owner. I will purchase from them again in the future.

We planted these Saturday, 12/6/25. We ordered 5 starts and received 7. Thanks for the 2 complimentary plants. This is great value for money. Today is Thursday, 12/11/25, all 7 plants are growing well. We are in Florida planting zone 10a. They appear strong and sturdy. It’s too early to speak on taste and beauty. However, we are hoping to have bountiful harvests of strawberries. 4 stars because it is too soon to know how they will eventually grow and bloom.

Ordered Everbearing bare root strawberries. Arrived in decent, but not great shape. Planted as soon as they arrived in an upright strawberry planter with a rich container mix. Was happy at first because I saw several leaves pop in the first few days. Unfortunately that excitement was short lived. Out of the 25 roots, only 12 produced leaves & have continued growing. I expected to lose a few, but 50%? Won't be ordering replacements.

About half of these guys came to life, the other half are showing no signs of life so far. The ones that lived came life did so right away. We did follow all the instructions, time will tell if the survivors produce fruit.
