Lamination at home has become so much easier with this device. It heats up quickly and does the job in just a minute, which is perfect when you need to get things done fast. The option to switch between cold and thermal settings adds versatility, and the jam release feature is a lifesaver. It’s efficient and user-friendly, making laminating documents for work or school a breeze. A great tool to keep around for all kinds of projects.

When I had a laminator years ago, I found that I would use it occasionally, but it wasn’t something that I used every day or week – but it was handy to have readily available. As my previous laminator packed in a while ago, being able to order this was welcome.The width is about 50% more than the size of A4 size paper so is not taking up much room on my desk when I bring it out. Although there are 2 heat options, I’ve only used the hot one for traditional laminating – although it is nice to have the option and extends its usefulness.Heating up takes about a minute and depending on the size of the document you’re laminating it can be quick. There is a cutting slider at the top of the machine which seems less useful as it doesn’t seem that sharp – I tend to use my separate guillotine cutter if I need to trim the laminated document/picture.There are 30 pouches of different sizes included with the laminator which is handy to get started and trying it out. I never had any problems with air bubbles in the laminates that I done – even A4 ones.As a laminator it is more than capable of casual use, which for me is just what I am looking for.

For transparency - a few weeks back I had been rummaging around various boxes in my loft to try and find a laminator we used to have back in the 2000s (didn't find it). It was on the 'to do' list of things to pick up - then Vine offered this one for review.My daughter is doing A-level art at school and some of her pieces will benefit from laminating. This machine from Vosfeel does the job very well. I would recommend a couple of test runs before using it on something that's unique though (like a piece of art...) in case the temperature crinkles the paper.The unique feature here is the built in guillotine - very useful for trimming down odd-sized pieces.A good buy

This is a really simple to use laminator that comes with three sizes of laminate to get you started - from A4 down to A5 size.Instructions are easy to follow - you just need to remember to slot the sealed edge into the machine first.There is quite a delay waiting for the machine to heat up to operating temperature but then all you do is feed the laminate in at one end and wait for it to come out the other end.It's small and lightweight so stores easily in my study - plus a feature I really like is the sliding guillotine for cutting the laminate down to size on the top of the machine.

Whilst the fact that the “ready” light on the machine is labelled “ready” should worry me, this laminating machine seems to tick all the right boxes. Proof of the pudding is in the eating and so I went ahead and laminated something, and it worked exactly how it should – the machine comes with a few pouches. The laminator has a hot and cold setting – the latter uses pressure to laminate rather than heat and is for delicate documents.The laminator comes with the standard slicer on the top of the unit that was perhaps not as robust feeling as it might be and I had to press hard for it to cut through the laminate (first pass made no impact). However the corner rounder that is stored in the base is really useful.For the price I doubt you can do much better.

I received an A4 laminator machine from Vosfeel. It came in a very ordinary, brown box with black print and outline drawings on.As claimed, the device heats up in a couple of minutes. I noticed that in use it was very smooth and quiet compared to the juddery, rubbing noise from my old one. The end results from the included pouches were perfect.The corner clipper is a thoughtful touch in that it slides into the body of the laminator instead of being one of those things you need to keep separately in a drawer and occasionally think "Did this laminator not come with an accessory or something?".Are you supposed to clip the corners of the paper before laminating? The included pouches were already rounded so I tried it on something else and it did a great job (see photo).One big bonus for me was that I found I could use the attached trimmer for my Cricut vinyl. It's the perfect size and saves me a purchase there.

This laminator is a good fit for home or light office tasks. It heats up quickly and delivers a smooth, professional finish on the documents I’ve laminated so far. I like that it has both hot and cold settings, which adds some versatility depending on the type of project you’re working on. The included corner rounder and trimmer are convenient, but they don’t feel as high-quality as the laminator itself, especially the trimmer, which struggles with precision. It’s great for occasional projects like laminating kids' schoolwork or personal documents, but if you’re looking to do heavy-duty laminating or need a super sharp trimmer, you might find this set a bit underwhelming. Overall, it’s solid for basic use.

This laminator is good for occasional home use. It's been good to laminate some drawings and other work of my daughters.It probably isn't good if you are laminating a large quantity on a regular basis but for home use its very good value.
