Perfect for my needs
This is a nice complete setup and it feels just as quality as it looks. Im not a professional in this department so I can't speak on how this will hold up in a heavily used enviroment but so far its been great for me and I couldn't be happier.

Great for precision
YIHUA 8509-I Precision Hot Air Rework Station - Rapid & Precise Heating, Tiltable Display, 3 Pre-set Channels, 8 Hot Air Nozzles for SMD Rework & Repair @ $329.99The quality is pretty good for the unit and the solid base. The hose is questionable, but we'll see. This is my first purchase of a hot air rework station, but first impressions are good. You have several presets for temperature, can control the temp granually and adjust airspeed. It comes with multiple nozzles of varying sizes.I've been looking for something like this for two purposes. I do little projects here in there with soc's and capacitors. Big heat guns work well but you have to do prep to protect the surrounding area. This allows you almost pin point precision. The air from a distance feels cool and the heat is near the nozzle. This is good as the hot air dissipates quickly to prevent impacting components around it.

Works good
This is almost a necessity for smds. Works much better than struggling with a standard soldering iron.

Great rework station in this price range
I Love this rework station. It allows for more delicate work than with a soldering unit because the hot air is more of a focused heat than your standard heated iron. This unit is built for detail work. It comes with a plethora of tips to allow you to do this type of work but as I said you will need a different unit for larger scale projectsOverall I believe this to be a great set up for personal use but if you need it for commercial work I would get a higher price unit that can deal with varying sizes of chips and smds with ease. This unit is good value for the money and will get the job done for personal use within reason.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken

Compact, smart hot air station with 8 tips
The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome hot air station that comes with a great assortment of tips and some very helpful functionality. When you first turn the machine on it goes into standby until you remove the hot air nozzle from the stand. Once you remove the nozzle the station immediately starts heating up, and let me tell you it heats up very rapidly, like under 30 seconds. Comes with the stand I guess that has a sensor because when you put the hot air pen back the station immediately starts to ramp down. With this automated control you could conceivably leave the station on all the time as it will only heat up and push air when the nozzle is removed from the included holder. There are three quick presets for temperature as well as being able to adjust the temperature manually. The airflow is controlled by the knob on the front where you can either increase or decrease the air flow.Besides the three preset temperature there are two buttons that allow you to either increase or decrease the temperature to whatever you want. That temperature, through a menu, can either be set to display in Fahrenheit or Centigrade.I was very impressed by the unit's ability to concentrate hot air in an extremely small space, with the eight included various size tips The area of that space can either be increased or decreased. This precise control is great for working with surface mounted components.Unit is very compact with the face being about four and a half inches by 6 in, the entire unit is less than 9 in deep, so it fits just perfect on my very crowded workbench.

Amazing for small components, helps to have a microscope
I have tried out several rework stations during my time working on electronics, but a complaint I've had with nearly all of them is that they didn't come with a very small tip/s. This has fantastic to use for super small components without having to worry about blowing off others near them, something I was unfortunately used to until now.

Not at the quality of Hakko/Weller...
Functionally, this works quite well. I like how many tips it comes with and how very selective you can be with applying heat. This is not a rework station for large chips though! For that, you will need larger tips than this uses. This unit is ideal for detail work, small SMD components, etc. However I will say the build quality is clearly inferior to my Hakko and Weller stations. It has a significantly lighter body, and the buttons and plastic feel cheeper, thinner, and less durable. For intermittent or occasional use, this probably is not impactful unless you just find a lot of value in the vibe of owning a really quality tool, like I do. I question the long term longevity of this tool under high use, but otherwise, this is a good value and many non-professionals would be well served by it.

Heat & Air at My Control…
The media could not be loaded. This works excellent for my guitars and pedals. I’m always working on small boards and large guitar frets. I like the heat distribution and the spin dial. It has an easy to ready display too with tilts. It has a rugged construction and works like a champ!!!Trust you found this review helpful:-)
